The thing that excites me today , apart from it being our first home prem game obviously, is that we have the chance to establish a six point gap to some of our rivals .. which will be some start if we can pull it off .. much more difficult to cut back a defecit at the bottom than it is at the top Didn't Hull start with two wins last year though? That said, I think we're miles apart from where they were. Yep one of only 2 promoted teams (soon to be 3) to start with 2 wins. The other? Bolton under allerdyce in 01/02. They also had the only guy to score in his first two games from a promoted team- a certain Micheal Ricketts! Soon to be eclipsed by Moo Moo Mooniay.

I wasn't expecting Huddersfield to emerge victorious last weekend but definitely fancy them to be the underdogs and get another win here. If want a preview, please visit sportgrill.blog/2017/08/19/huddersfield-town-vs-newcastle-united/*I read the forum rules and there wasn't anything relating to posting links so can I sincerely apologise if any rules have been breached.

No strikers at all on the bench if Quaner is a winger nowadays

No surprise that it's not the same team, a little surprised it was Palmer to miss out. Look out for him in the second half, he'll be chomping at the bit.

Both Kachunga and Quaner are actually strikers. There is no problem with the bench.

Be good to see Kachunga, Ince and VLP behind Mounie. That's got goals written all over it, if we can get behind the back 6 to 10.

Is Depoitre injured? Have to admit thought this would be a great game for him to come on second half...
Let's hope mounie lasts the full game

Is our match still on. Sky only talking about Spurs and Chelsea. What about the mighty Town.

They will have every twat behind the ball. This won't be easy by no means. Hope we get the win.

Did I miss it; why the black armbands?
Can't see if Newcastle are wearing the same.

Was that Gayle that just threw himself on the floor in the area? Hope they look at that one again. Should be punished retroactively

We appear to have eventually acquired a goalkeeper. First half Schindler immense.

Really went into a lull there, need to get more urgency on the ball, kuchunga should have done better with that 3 on 2.

Zanka looked the weakest link in the first half. Not very assured on the ball compared to Heff.
