Villa are 16/1 and I wouldn’t back them at that, can’t see them winning it at all. As for them having the best manager, blimey that fat headed oxygen thief would struggle to make it into my top 23 in The Championship. He has a good recent record at that level and the competition isn’t great..unlike last year. All 3 promoted teams and reading had obviously very high calibre managers. Clearly evident by the performance of the prompted sides. One was moneyed with a top end manager, another had sustained eight figure losses for five seasons and then got a decent manger, the third had an unusual talent plus Aaron Mooy. Thought the Leeds midfield was poor- the Blades in the middle were a good mix though and that lad Brooks is going far. Yeah probably in January 30 miles north up the M1 isn’t far, for example.

This thread looks really shit by reading some of the above, but gonna give some thoughts anyway.. 1) the young lad who scored the winner, keeping cool and placing it on the bottom corner of the Leeds net, wonderful finish, take a bow etc. 2) Leeds roughing up Sheff U strikers outside their area, then up the pitch going down like a sack of shit when touched up other end of the field. 3) Radio Leeds saying Hugo Viera looked like world class against Bristol C last week. As I recall, Kasey Palmer made him look every bit a Dewsbury league amateur midfielder, then Izzy Brown came on and did the same to him. In summary, Radio Leeds under the impression that If Town can do it then shit this must be the scum’s season. More work to do on the basis of tonight’s showing lads How old was that lad, looked about 15 to me!? Thought Ayling looked alright to be fair, he was squeezing up on the Sheff player and was receiving the ball pretty high up the field and rarely seemed to give it away...although he was more “starting things” rather than being involved actively in the final third like for example Tommy Smith is from the same position. Pontus I couldn’t work out if he was just trying to kill a bit of sting from the game or he’s a bottler not up for a fight. Bit odd given his obvious physical attributes his total lack of imposing himself on the play...it’s not as though Leon Clarke is some highly mobile 23 year old tearing round the pitch. Don’t recognise any other Leeds players, they seem to be an identikit of averageness...like a team of Oliver Norwoods. He's 20, but I thought the same as you......he looks about 15.

Villa will win the league. Said that after our narrow 1-0. They’ve got the best budget, the best players and the best manager. Wolves look strong at present so them Norwich an drhe rest to scarp it out. Would be delighted to see blades go up. I think we’ve destroyed wendies. Going nowhere again under Carvalho. Leeds without Wood and Bartlett will be 7-12. Absolutely horrendous tackle from Phillips late on. How the ref has only booked him is beyond belief. It's Chansiri who's destroying Wednesday. How Carvalhal keeps his job is unbelievable. How the Blades are top with that team is astounding. It's all down to Wilder. In fact, he's doing so well that he deserves his chance in the PL post haste. The sooner the better... Wilder is very impressive - I am led to believe he (and Rowett) are on the Burnley shortlist if Dyche goes to Everton/West Ham.

It's a "well done" to the Blades from me. Obsessed. That's a joke isn't it? If not, it's ridiculous to suggest someone is obsessed because they're glad Leeds lost. Football rivalries exist the world over, always have done, always will do. Leeds are our biggest rivals and it's perfectly natural to want them to lose.

Leeds are our biggest rivals and it's perfectly natural to want them to lose. Even though Leeds are safely tucked away in a lower league, I will never tire of seeing them loose or struggle. I work with a cart load of their fans, and have been given some reet stick from them over the years, so now is my/our time to enjoy our current situations. I would not say I was obsessed with them. Same can be said with the massive. I just keep an eye out for their results. Am disappointed when they do well, and am pleased when they don't do well. It's not unusual for these feelings to bubble away for season after season. Leeds fans will always be pleased when their 'biggest rivals' Man Utd loose, even though they have not dined at the same table for years. It's just lifelong rivalry. I agree some on here do come across as obsessed mentioning anything and everything Leeds, but there's nowt wrong imo in taking pleasure from a Leeds defeat.

Same here....I've lived in Leeds since 1981, most of my mates are Leeds fans & its the first time we've been in a higher division than them in my 39 years of watching Town, it's our time....enjoy it ! Some people are obsessed about us being obsessed !

Not so much about Leeds being poor last night, it's just that Sheff Utd were very good - really quick attacking play.

Good advice people.. block anyone who calls a racist a racist You just dont get it do you Ted? 'Dave' picked out one post in this thread and decided to call it obsession. I just wonder why he chose MY post. You and I seem to sing of the same hymn sheet on this subject at least, as do the majority of posters on this thread...... Yet because he's taken a dislike to me, he tries to undermine a random post. Now we don't get on at times, but show, I think, a modicum of respect when it comes to football opinions. Dave is just a boring countdown watcher who is still at school and thinks he's wise. He makes me chuckle.

Yeah probably in January Good one to come in our direction - remind me of Marcus Stewart with a bit more pace. Think the lad is well recognised at scouting level and will be off to a "big" club.

They were all gutted when their biggest rivals lost to little old Huddersfield last week, (who by the way they don't care about).

Lost four games in five matches in the league and knocked out of the cup midweek. Wheels off. Relegation form.
