Hi
I have today been receiving a you are banned from this forum” error whilst on iPhone on 4g.
Once home on WiFi everything fine. Tried rebooting phone etc but to no avail...any ideas please?

Can I just add my name to the list too please. iPhone 6S. It's been going on since yesterday and is a bit random - it will be ok for a short time, then revert back to telling me I'm banned again. I actually had a screen last night telling me that I was banned until 18/01/2018 at 5.00am, which seemed quite specific? I also updated the OS with a scheduled update last night and thought that would sort the issue - it didn't. Cheers.

I think the issue should be resolved now. It was a particular IP address that was blocked (but an IP that represents a private network, although any private network - not 1 specific one). So a number of people have been affected.
Its been rectified though - let us know if any further issues.

Sane issue for me yesterday and today on Android. Also on Virgin Media wifi said it was blcoking the site because it was dangerous.

Same issue for me yesterday on Android phone using 4g. Today on Virgin wifi flashed up a warning mnessage from Virgin saying sight was blocked as unsafe

Same issue for me yesterday on Android phone using 4g. One at a time - the issue when you accessed via 4G, you said that was yesterday (Thursday). We hadn’t fixed this issue til Friday so this one might be solved. The second one - where it’s deemed unsafe - I don’t know what to say about that. Was that the whole site? A particular board, like this sub board? The reason I ask is that for some strange reason I cannot access this tech support subboard on my work network as it’s blocked but the rest of the site isn’t. |

I have android phone and is ok when on WiFi but if using mobile data states am banned even if just viewing rather than logged on.

I’m another having this problem since Friday morning, the site works fine using my home WiFi, but using my 4g connection I get the ‘You have been banned from this forum’ message, refreshing the page will sometimes let me on.
Using an iPhone 5s on O2 network.

I got the ‘banned’ message yesterday whilst trying to use Costa’s WiFi - iPhone 7. We are on Virgin Media at home and there’s been no problems there - so far!

Was on Virgin East Coast yesterday and was blocked for most of it, with the occasional brief entry, followed by another block. First time this has happened. Back home and all working fine now.
