I want to know which bookie you go to because Salford for promotion are 11/10 Paddy Power. Not for any particular reason other than I have an account with them. I don't shop around for the best odds. I was surprised at the odds, but it's on my receipt at 21/10. EDIT: just checked again, those odds are to win, so play-offs won't count for that one. Never mind! It's a good price because the best you can get is 11/10 at Betfred now.

It's the others that're the long shots, but keeps my interest in the other divisions, for the first few weeks at least.

Orient will be there or there abouts, Justin Edinburgh is a good manager at that level. Salford will not have it all their own way this season.

Lay Town at 6/5...2.2. Then when they hit 9/5....2.8 you can greenout/cash out. If they win either of the first two games you have made 50%. Lose the first two and the odds will be the same virtually. At some point they will trade at 9/5
Liverpool for the Prem 4/1 Bournemouth bottom 25/1...Hills. Burnley relegated 4/1 Brum relegated 7/1 Wolves relegated 9/1 Bournemouth relegated 9/2 Salford 21/10 Lay L**ds not to be promoted 7/2 Accrington top half 7/2 Town above Bournemouth 2/1

A good time to put the Bournemouth bets on as they sign a 25m midfielder

Hang on a minute? Wolves are 9/1 to be relegated but 40/1 to burst into the top 4, if they are only giving 40/1 to finish top 4 there is no way they should be 9/1 to go down. Are the bookies just making it up as they go along?

Are the bookies just making it up as they go along? Surely 40/1 can't be right for Wolves to finish top 4? Are the bookies that mean? Not really a betting man, but I'd be more tempted for Wolves to go down at 9/1 than those top 4 odds. I'd have thought around 2000/1 would be about right, then I'd have had a penny or two on it.

Liverpool to win the league I've back them with Boro, Barnsley, Mansfield & Chesterfield (EW acc) ....a bit Northern bias or what? Utt. PS; I hope Rotherham United manage to stay up.....RIP Barry Chuckle.

Think the hype about Wolves and the cheeky bantz punty punters and Wolves fans backing them has seen their prices reduced to a silly level.

100 points stakes..i reckon i will double my money, at least, after trading out.

Just had a cheeky bet on town to beat Chelsea at home. 5/1 is too big to ignore. Me too - I think we can catch them cold this Saturday like Burnley did last season opening day, so yes, 5/1 is too big to ignore!
New manager, unfamiliar system, new players not sure of their roles, players trying to force moves away; general unrest in the camp is showing an unhappy Stamford Bridge at the moment which may drop in our favour. As for our game the following Sunday - not sure the same applies and my money may stay in my pocket

At nearly 4/1 you still get a decent pay-out if we win. However a draw is still a very good result for us and would you really want it tarnished by the thought of losing a few quid?

As i posted last year. These day i wait until the season is six matches in...OK, you generally gets less odds but you can discount half the teams already by then and if you have put Orient in your bet and they are rock-bottom its game over. Get a little form, wait until things settle...six or seven games in. If you want to chose league winners at fair prices (not odds-on) then do a Lucky 15 or 31...one winner and treble odds some places...get your money back at least. Also you have an interest all season long. I think you may all now see some wisdom in this? What are your views on this bet available right now? Huddersfield to score under 35 PL goals, Burnley, Newcastle & Southampton each to score under 40 PL goals @ 15/2

And Burnley, Cardiff and Town are 3 of the weakest teams i have ever seen in the Prem right now. Based on last weekend you may have a point........but to say ever is a bit harsh i think. Thought burnley were poor against us at their place a few weeks ago but we couldnt take our chances and passed up 2 points. Sadly at the moment we are 2/3 players short of staying up.....and they are first choice not squad men. Cardiff probably the same. Still plenty to play for though - fulham are poor, west ham far from great and have injuries and suspensions looming, newcastle are poor and soton not much if any better. Its up to us though - you dont often get massive gifts at this level and we have to assume we wont get any either from mistakes or refs.

Dont you think its a shame that 10 games in only 3 can win it and only 6 can go down? The European super league will come...if only for competitions sake. Cardiff were BAD and Burnley no better. We battered both and we are poodle.

The only thing stopping it is the champs league which is a huge cash cow for the elite and tough to replace as more move onto stream access and not subscriptions, albeit clearly digital season tickets are the way forward.
