Yep! It hit the corner flag. Haha... Not that one, it was another blatant time wasting thing, maybe holding onto the ball or something when it was their free kick, normal stuff, but pretty obvious if you've just come onto the pitch and you do it twice in quick succession. Some strange things yesterday, Ref waving us for time wasting when we were not doing much more than normal. Maybe the players being subbed had lead boots, but again that's nothing new. The Ref & linesmen seemed to have a poor game in general, but nothing that I'd actually say showed any bias, they were just erratic at times... I’ve got to be honest and say I can scarcely remember an incorrect decision by the officials whilst watching on the telly. Many of the offsides were very tight but all were correct. The only two that could have been called differently were two incidents involving Flo which were marginal. Sky commentators felt he should have had a pen in the first half (I thought it was 50:50) and be could have had a foul in the second half (was it a push or a shoulder charge). We tend to do better with Moss in charge than most other refs.

He does nowt some stats linkObviously you have to take into account we have to defend more but id say those stats are pretty impressive for a 22 year old bury player Those are some stats and he is in good company.

Looking at how much he’s played, didn’t realise how many minutes he’s had - might even be more than he’s had in a season before and it’s only November. Can see how much he’s benefiting from a good run in the team and if he carries on his rate of improvement he’s gonna he some player. Can see him getting his first cap for Denmark this season, especially as he scored for the u21s last time out.

Was he yellow carded and out for Saturday or not?
Premier League and BBC web sites say Mbenza saw yellow but it looked like Billing for dissent to me.

I am sure i will be proved wrong, i hope i am, but from where i was sat the ref definitely looked at Billing when he pulled the card out. Like you say, BBC has Mbenza as carded, as does Town App.

Funny how we all see it differently. Don’t think Billing had a particularly good game at all.
Mooy and Hoggs performance in the centre was a class above Billings.

What’s impressive is he’s not just good going forwards, but he covers a hell of a lot of ground defensively too and often is a player in our penalty area breaking up an attack. In fact, I watched the opening 20 mins or so of the game at lunchtime, when he shoots and rattles the crossbar, he’s actually the player who then calmly emerges with the ball in our box less than 30 seconds later when Fulham have caught us cold with extra men over and swarming forwards. Overall that he’s player of the season for us so far would be difficult to argue with...he’s not always the man of the match, but what he brings in his 60 or 70 mins before he’s ran raggged generally causes more problems for the opposition and contributes more to us defensively than any other player. We have better defenders and better players going forwards...but he’s the best rounded package.

If you need a measure of how far he has improved (excluding otium (EPBS), obvs) it is surely that most of us will have sighed with relief to have seen this?

Billing has been a revelation this season... imagine being Otium and refusing to enjoy this young player’s breakthrough season. A joy to watch at times, and maturing in to the role.

Not his best game of the season but a decent performance none the less. Really stepped up to the plate this season and looks a good young premier division midfielder. The scouts from Bury will have impressed enough anyway.

It has been a long time since I have posted but feel I want to add to this.
Me and 4 of my best friends have a whatsapp group and all 4 of them say Billing is our best player this season, I always go back with the what does he do to affect the outcome of the game in a struggling team I think this could be said for our entire team but I really don’t see what all the fuss is about and I would always pick Danny Williams in front of him.
He reminds me of Tom Huddlestone who flattered to deceive and I think because you are naturally drawn to him and he is in the main neat and tidy but he certainly doesn’t deserve the lofty praise.
It appears I am very much in the minority.

He’s closer to 20m than he is to being Bury’s record signing ( currently Chris Swailes 252k ) that’s a fact

Perhaps he is not as bad as i make out...but i am 100% certain he is nowhere near as good as the blue-blinkered crowd on here make out. He played in 16 matches last season and i recall one decent performance. 27 matches and been on the winning side twice. Always shagged at the end of games...always way out of position when the opposition score or sometimes at fault. Booked regularly as he is so clumsy. Falls over a lot, poor at heading. Yes, there is the great backlift that scored two screamers and once a match maybe a 40 yard pass but where is he bombing back, bombing forward, where are the goals? Wonder why he is not in the Denmark team?

Beginning of the season I’d have said “overrated and should have sold him to Swansea .. “ I won’t admit to being wrong . He wasn’t up to it . But this season I would guess he has been the most improved player in the premier league . Matt glennon said yeaterday post match that he had been talking to the coaching dept and asked them where all the improvement had come from . They said as soon as they saw him pre season there was a total transformation and it all clicked . Or something to that effect
