Sincere apologies for the lack of my official thread. Couldn't resist when I saw them! Thought you deserved a break after the sterling job you've done this year. It won't happen again.

Well I'm looking forward to it even if no-one else is.
I'm pretty sure the last time I went we parked in an away fans car park right behind the away end (and for a not completely (but slightly obviously) daft price).
Struggle to see references to it on ground guides.
Have I dreamt it or made it up?

Struggle to see references to it on ground guides. Have I dreamt it or made it up? The following is from the footballgroundguide.com - is this the one you mean Andy? A visiting Scunthorpe fans adds; 'If you pass the ground on your right and then turn right at the next lights (about 250m) and proceed up this road for about 300m, you will see HSS Hire (plant hire) on your right. Turn right in front of this and it leads you into a fenced off area adjacent to Turnstile 7 (the away entrance). You can go straight into the ground without leaving this area. It was also well marshalled on our visit. It is not big enough for teams with big support, but I think it would take around 200 cars. Cost was £8.' Pre-booked coaches get preference for this area, so if your team are bringing a number, then the space for cars may be limited.'

You have not dreamt it - I parked there two seasons ago - buT remember, they close the road outside 5 mins before the end so be prepared to wait about 25 mins after till,it reopens .....or leave at 85 and be straight out

No restrictions or road closures at full time and not bad for exiting onto main road. Hopefully will be of use to some Town fans, dread to think what the numbers will be down to for this one, only one travel coach I believe, compared to 7 last Saturday. The threads complaining I went to Torquay when we were shit and I can't get a ticket seem a distant memory now.

Fair play to the fans going to this one - hope you've a game to sing yourselves hoarse about...
Was chatting to 2 Weslh lads earlier tonight, a Swans fan & bizarrely a Toon fan. The Swans fan wasn't happy about having to see his club relegated and their arch rivals promoted last yr...
There are some similarities to us, but thankfully we're not the rivals of those twats from Leeds...

I went to the Torquay v Town match in 1979 , and still here on the English riviera 7.30 kick off and lost didn't we? Was a 3pm k/o on what looked like a ploughed field , and we lost 1-3 10 30 overnight from Leeds on Friday with a big group of nutters with many being ejected down the line for for drunkeness, rape, violence and theft . Not many got off that train in Torquay at 9am the following morning which was met by a mass of of police Managed to pull the very fit local bar maid ,and took her to the match

There will be a fair few going up from the South West of England which obviously includes myself Loads of towns fans have retired down here in Devon and Cornwall ,and see lots when going to the matches over the years especially away Not given up hope yet as this lot we support have always been so unpredictable Very pissed off though as yet to bring in a striker/s 9 days into the window . Looks like Dean has stuck to his promise not to sack Wagner ,and hope he sticks to his more recent promise that HE WOULD NOT ALLOW TOWN TO SLEEPWALK INTO RELEGATION especially as he seems to be a man of his word

All it means to me is that he is going to bring in players that could help town stay up ,and surely this would include a striker/s , Have i misread his intentions as thought that might have been sorted 9 days into the window ,and we cannot allow the relegation gap to get bigger.

Fair play to all your crazy bastards going down to Cardiff on Saturday, you must have lost your minds. Not been to Cardiff since Ninian Park days. I just couldn't get up for this at the minute and I've followed Town all over the land. I've never felt less like going away in my whole Town supporting lifetime as I do now and been to some right shit holes when we were crap. I honestly wonder if the players, Wagner and the club deserve the support they get on the road at times.
