Anyone tell me the difference between this and pulling the slanted eyes? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but some on here are still in the 80s. All well and good doing it with your mates, that's your choice, but on a board associated with our club. Bit naughty shitting on your own doorstep
OP's defnitely in the 80s, possibly the 1880s. Suprised he didn't illustrate the "gag" with a Youtube video.
these 2 posts could make me cry they are so tragic. Absolutely disgraceful, hand your heads in shame.

I wonder how many reports this racist thread has recieved Way more than childrens home managers reporting 12 year old years being abducted and raped by Islamic paedophiles. Oh how we laughed at Benny Hill, because it was amusing. Laughing is now a hate crime....so is saying "Islamist". www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-46794196What about Kit oti? Or Barry Benell? Those were the bloody good old days weren’t they. No islamist’s. Just our nice white paedophilies. Fuck me it must be tiring having so much hate inside you all the time. Call me an ill-educated snowflake plz x

I feel sure the Chinese have their own humourous way of imitating Westerners. What i want to know is why our shirt sponsorship deal is a third less than anyone else and 100 times less than Man Uniteds. Seriously you want to know why Man United get more than us ? They have probably the largest fan base in the world, I would guess they sell more replica shirts in any single country in the world ( with the exceptions of Antártica and the like ) than ours worldwide. They have official paper clip suppliers, genuinely. Had a look around their club shop on Boxing Day, you could get a Sanchez/Rolex watch for £5,000 or a cheap and nasty denim waistcoat with a stitched in for £135, without the it would have been a tenner in Primark. They are quite simply a licence to print money, Michael Knighton could have bought them lock stock and barrel for around £10M about 25 years ago (when he did his ball juggling at the Stratford End) but couldn't finance the deal, last month when they sacked Jose because the stock market reacted favourably their value went up over £120M overnight. And your asking why HTFC are lagging behind.................. I am aware of all that...total turnover etc. Why then is Cardiffs shirt deal 3 times ours?

Call me an ill-educated snowflake plz x One a sick individual with 11 male victims who tragically underwent indecent assault. Rotherham child-grooming and abuse scandal. A systemic, organised, long-term (25 year) crime- by a specific religious and ethnic group involving the raping, trafficking, abuse and drugging of 1505 children by at least 32 individuals. Which one am i likely to comment on? The one that is political, the one we can do something about, the one that is a massive scandal and a national disgrace created by snowflakes letting such individuals in and then, even worse, ignoring their crimes and ethnicity. Not much we can do about horrid Kit Carson's, plenty we can do about sick grooming gangs. I am not full of hate. These sick people should create hate and abhorrence within you. Just imagine your child the victim. YOU said "nice white paedophiles"...i never mentioned skin colour. You are not a snowflake....just a moron.

If it is it's probably down to the fact this is their 2nd stint in the PL, they've had a recent FA Cup semi final, they've got a 25% bigger stadium which is situated in a capital city not a northern backwater and their Malaysian owner promotes than massively in his homeland, I doubt we've sold a single shirt in Malaysia, Cardiff will have sold hundreds or even thousands. For the avoidance of doubt, if I was offered a free season ticket for any other club in the world or had to pay to renew mine at HTFC, that's what I would do but sadly not many people actually give a toss about Huddersfield or it's football club.

A fair point, more inclined to think that the promotion and sponsorship dept are a little wet behind the ears, like the recruitment dept. Look at the merchandise...only two types of badge on sale. Man United have over 50 annually. 10p to produce £3 each...huge margins. They are missing a million tricks. We had to learn quick in the Prem....we didnt.

Man United have over 50 annually. 10p to produce £3 each...huge margins. They are missing a million tricks. We had to learn quick in the Prem....we didnt. Again I have to disagree, they have learnt going back to the Autoglass final with Warnock and the play off finals that followed but we are of limited appeal, given the short notice I think they did well with the one off 40,000 that turned up for Wembley, the feel good factor that followed was cashed in on but this season has put us back to square one. The reason Man U, Livepool and their like have 50 badges a year is because they have an endless market willing to buy them we simply don't, it's hardly surprising when you consider what we are, if this was the start of the 1920s we could cash in big time but since relegation from the top flight in 1955 we've had 4 seasons in the big leagu, two of them are (destined to be) disastrous relegation campaigns. Our club shop is a market stall compared to Chelsea and Man Uniteds Harrods because that's what our customer / fan base dictates, we opened a temporary additional one near the cinema because last year we grew, next year in the Championship it will probably close down. Surely you must understand this. The last time I went to Gigg Lane their shop was 50/50 with Bury FC and Man United merchandise because that's what sells. Walk over the bridge from B & Q to the stadium there's usually one bloke selling a handful of unofficial scarves and badges, on the way up to Arsenal there are 20 or 30 stalls selling as many different products as our shop, they thrive not least because hundreds of first timers snap up half and half scarves to mark their first ever visit. It is of course all down to success at the end of the day, you can ring the ticket office today and buy 100 tickets to Cardiff on Saturday if you choose to do so, this time last year this board was in meltdown with people complaining it's not fair I was going when we were shite and now I can't get a ticket , 6 months of defeat after defeat has that effect, 1970/71 we averaged over 23,000, 1975/76 that was down to the 5,000 mark. We are what we are and to be honest for what we are I think we do alright, even with their London advantage it would be interesting to see what state Arsenal would be in now had Chapman left them to join us and we had then both taken each other's journeys.
