Why would we want Him back? I’d like us to win more than 5 games in 2019..

So we have officially reached the bargaining stage on DATM. Next up is depression, which is scheduled to coincide with the announcement of the new manager. Brace yourselves for a thread entitled "sleepwalking into relegation...to League 1" in the not too distant future.

Lets wait and see how the next manager gets on before slating greyarea.
We might all be begging for him to come back before long.
Lot of repressed males on here. It’s ok to have emotions guys. It’s even ok to cry you know.

Serious question. Don't I remember a while back, greyarea being female? Nothing at all to do with the reaction to Wagner's departure. Not trying to be pc either, can't abide it. Just saying, not everyone who posts on here is a bloke.

Excellent article in middle pages of today's racing post... By their football stats/analytics expert Kevin pullein.. Details the disparity in wage bills between town and their championship and premier league rivals.. Emphasis on the miracle that Wagner created

If he’d played mbenza instead of Lowe against Newcastle he’d still be here. Not seen anything mbenza that would say he could of done anything special to alter things.

Well in that game Lowe had several clear opportunities to cross in the first 15 minutes and every time he paused and passed it back- because he’s a natural full back- not even a wingback. Fast forward a few games and Mbenza gets a home start and first opportunity to cross he deliveres the best ball of the season for moonie to attack and finish brilliantly. Things could’ve been so different this year that’s all.

I think I'd do nearly anything if it would get David to change his mind and come back to Huddersfield. 3 Amazing years and virtually all fans still love him. He is a top-line elite manager, I cannot see where we get anyone better? The club has been totally changed. Come back David, the best thing ever to happen to town in my lifetime. Cringeworthy and embarrassing.

with both Wagner and rebbe gone ,discussions could or should have been made about our legend Wagner moving upstairs to oversee the next stage of our history too good a guy to lose in my opinion

Totally agree, He should have been given a good hiding and held under house arrest at the stadium, We could have held his wife and family as hostages.

I don't think that's an accurate representation of what people are feeling. It's more a case of moving from a stable and largely hugely successful period to a position of significant uncertainty. Not that I think going back is ever the answer in life but I can understand why people want to return to what they were comfortable with. DW has left through the front door with his legacy assured for generations. I can understand people who are now concerned if we are heading in a downward direction and would prefer someone who they trusted was still here. It's been a tumultuous few days with no current idea what the outcome will be. Any fans that were comfortable with 1 draw after 9 straight defeats needs to raise their expectations. I'm excited to see how the club evolves now. Realistically, we're looking to next season in the championship and I genuinely believe that our prospects are better without Wagner than with him. No-one's realised that's your view 🙈😂

Cos Ben (I guess you were born in 1987) and at best have been watching Town since about 2000 those that have watch the shiT that have been Town through the years realise that a manager like Wagner comes along once in a lifetime......so be prepared for years of mediocre managers and a possibly a fading Town that slips down the leagues faster than a brides knickers......we live in a throwaay society - we have just thrown our manager away despite him getting us the the Greedy league and earning three years of parachute payments......lets hope the new manager doesnt spunk away those payments and trouser a 5m+ payout when he "leaves with mutual consent" in under 10 months time. I hope you enjoyed it son...... - lets hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I’ve seen plenty of shite similar to your post. Wagner has done great things, I’ve alrwady suggested that, but he hasn’t died. He left, that’s not opinion, that’s fact. Move on.
