Awful hideous bastard of a disease! Poor her and her family at only 32 which is my wife’s age. Made me stop and think and say footballs only a game no matter how terrible it is to watch at the moment it pales in significance to this news.

It is with considerable regret that this follows the death of her father Shaun Withers, a fellow fanatical supporter of the mighty Terriers who sadly died of cancer in Sept 2018.
A friend and fellow traveller to many lower league grounds in the 90s along with his wife Anne and also Emma.
A truly devastating year for the family, and truly a fantastic family at that.

Deepest condolences to Emma’s family. It’s coming up to two years since my twin brother died. We saw our first game together in 1979. The club were brilliant helping us with Neal’s death and he was on the halftime scoreboard celebrating the life of Terriers who had passed at the end of last season. There is a lot of negative talk about the club at the moment but i won’t hear any criticism. When my family was struggling with a loss out of the blue, they could not of been more helpful. We were born Terriers and we will die Terriers. What happens in between is just life. My deepest condolences to Emma’s family.

Didn't know the young lady personally but condolences to all her family and friends.
Often a minutes silence or applause is held for people who have no connection with either Town or football in general but I trust we will be given the chance to pay our respects to Emma tomorrow evening.
