Going to need depth among the attack . I think John Marquis is prepared to make the step up, With respect, I have to disagree. At 27 there’s a reason why he’s playing for Doncaster in L1 - it’s his level.

Heard on the grape vine that a swop deal may be lined up.....Shelvey for Mooy, straight swop.
Could of thought of worse players to come in!!

I'd like that Matt Clarke, CB for Portsmouth. Missed having a Clarke in the defence.

In other news, bears shit in the woods.
Would imagine nearly all our players will be touted to all and sundry by their agents. It’s the reason they employ agents, and if most people were about to get a 40% pay cut at work they’d be thinking about moving on.

We should make enquiries about Helder Costa. Featured less and less as the season has gone on and Wolves will be spending plenty more money this summer pushing him further down the pecking order
He was excellent in the Championship

LDP .... a few decent games, a few decent goals.
Earned us a few quid by scoring at Chelski.
If he returns to do the half time draw I’ll probably do four claps.
Not too sure yet.

Wonder if we'll be looking at Alexander Isak, the young Swede at Dortmund. Signed with a big fanfare, spent first half of season in second team with Siewert. Loaned out to Willem in Eredivisie in January where he has hit 10 in 10. Would certainly be worth a loan enquiry as he may still not be ready for a regular place in a top division yet.

He hasn't moved for 12 months what makes the club think he will now.
Be better if he was f**king exercised. The fat statue.

The guy is the type of striker we should be looking for comfortable with the ball on the deck and good pace defenders would hate this type of player running at them.

Mentioned him on the first page on this thread. Looks like he's got a big future ahead of him & he's work with Siewert previously aswell. Could be a good loan option if Dortmund are willing to send him out again

Sometimes fans see players that look good, and sometimes those fans turn out to be right. Where’s the harm in making reasonable and realistic suggestions? Don’t you trust your own judgment?

I am tactically and observantly challenged, so would not know why a player was particularly good unless I was told, and then I would have to believe that person's word. I have no problem with this, and it helps the mystery of why the game is different in one half to the other. However, if I suggested Messi I would be laughed at. If I suggested a player from Guiseley I would be laughed at, so where is the line drawn between who might be good enough and who is not/out of reach? Even if I was a skilful as some of you at spotting why a player was good enough, I would have no idea if he would settle into the team, had a bad disciplinary record, was full of bad personal habits, or any of the other reasons which make a good player not worth buying. All of which is really irrelevant, as I'm sure that nobody from the club reads these pages for suggestions as to who is good enough, so is it just an ego trip for the suggestor?

There are plenty of posters on here that we only ever hear from during transfer windows, Puertouk being probably the worst, clear WUM’s. There are some posters that are clearly knowledgeable about German football, including one who I know and respect (midlander). Some posters on here know me and will agree that I’ve posted several names on here over the years that have largely gone on to prove me correct and whom we would all probably like to have here right now (Watkins, Grimes, Ampadu, Woods). I’ve contacted the club about players I’ve seen occasionally and both Ross Wilson and Stuart Webber (via his father-in-law who I know) confirm they followed up on some (Woods when at Shrewsbury and Grimes when at Exeter). This season? The only lower league player I’ve seen that I thought could be of interest to Town is Glenn Morris, goalie at Crawley. Watkins will cost 20 times what they could have got him for three years ago when I first mentioned him, and Ampadu the same and a full Welsh international at 18.

Sounds Ike the clamour we had to sign that big lump who used to play with Wells at Sadford (forgotten his name, he used to stack shelves at Co-op).
