We sold him for 300K to Forest - don't care if he's 1 million to get back.
His personality and drive are just what we need for next season.
And I'm not even thinking about promotion - that was a pipe dream 2 years ago and coming back to the Prem remains a pipe dream in my opinion. I'm thinking of staying up in the Championship, a nice steady mid table finish is fine the season you go down, anywhere close to the playoffs is more than decent.
And the Heff with his charisma and battling qualities is just what we need.
The buzz and spark his signing would create is just the kick start the summer needs. Come home Heff.

Agree. Bring him back. He drives us in every game and his enthusiasm is infectious.
We need to get back to having a close connection between fans and players as soon as possible.
It was a major reason for our promotion last time.

As much as he was popular with the fans, Hefele was a fairly average centre back. Technically average, yes, but fabulous attitude, which counts for a lot. However, as someone has already said, coming back would tarnish his legend status. With all his injuries, he may no longer be the same player he was anyway. |
