Reliably informed the 3 stars will be part of the main rather than above the shield (which is changing shape) . Not long to wait now i should think
Malcolm Brown will be boiling his head when he see the new shirt, Like an Arsenal shirt, But Blue n White with Pinstripes,,,, Blue shorts, Blue n White hooped stockings.

Black socks, please I agree that the black socks and WWI army helmet would be a great combo. I'd favour a viking helmet or a German pickelhaube though. Even Pritchard and Jack Payne would win headers wearing those.

Might get through a few matchballs if we go for horned Viking helmets😉

Also from SJ podcast. PL shirt sponsorship deal with OPE worth £5 million/season, due to the overseas transmission of live matches. Championship shirt sponsorship deal will only be worth about £500,000 per season, due to much less coverage. Two sponsors in the running, but it's fluid and one or both could quite easily drop out of the running and leave us with a blank shirt.

Not listened but i guess the chances are it will be a gambling sponsor. 17 of the 24 Championship teams were sponsored by gambling companies last season, including 5 sponsored by just 1 company 32Red.

Yeah, though apparently the viking berserker units did on occasion. They probably smoothed down the points for when they having a kickabout with a boar's bladder in between skirmishes though.

Reading between the lines, it may be that the sponsor who meets our valuation is a gambling company. I think SJ may prefer the company who has offered less, which may be non-gambling. Just my take.

How good would a plain, sponsor free shirt look? Even I’d buy one! Especially if it has an embroidered badge which has been hinted at.

Why has the sponsor not been sorted out yet, given we've known since March we'd be in the championship?

Umbro are putting out some decent kits, West ham and hearts recently so hoping for something good for us. I do like Hearts, and a few seasons ago they had a lovely away shirt, blue and white stripes in light blue , bung the Town on and bingo !

Please , no black socks or blue shorts , both look crap in my humble opinion.Plain white shorts and white socks, both smart and stylish. P.s nearly posted plain white shirts , that could have been embarrassing.

has to be the right blue for the stripes, not like our first pure legal shirt on which the blue was way too light.

Why has the sponsor not been sorted out yet, given we've known since March we'd be in the championship? Agree. Our Commercial Department sometimes gets blamed for things not in their remit, this certainly is. They have had at least 3 months to sort this out.

We've set a figure for the main shirt sponsor and nobody has met that valuation yet. Two interested parties but one is under Town's valuation. Last season we got £5 million for OPE. We are looking for £500,000 this time.

(By a factor of about 5x ??)

Because...that would be over £100m of revenue from a single Premier League season, and we’d have bought some actual players capable of keeping us up.

Anyway, I heard Hitachi, but not now, for what that’s worth.
