Of Charlton would be my first signing to partner Grant (if Charlton don't get promoted). This guy will go far IMO.

Will our new chairman have to add £20m of his own money for us to buy him? If not, then he won't be good enough for us.

Would be a real coup. I mentioned him on other threads after seeing him against Portsmouth earlier this season. Not seen anything else of him but I think he'd be excellent as the more attack minded player of a midfield 3 with Hogg and Bacuna.
Running his contract down so would be a free transfer as well, although I've read articles suggesting there's interest from Arsenal and across Europe as well. I'd be delighted if he signed but not holding out hope

Have monitored his progress since. No wonder the Charlton fans are keeping quiet.

Yes, I've mentioned him before he could come here and play but go to a Arsenal, Spurs and get lost there or be loaned out etc. We need these type of players to come in now. Well worth making contact Imo

We're higher up the pecking order than we've been for years. Maybe not as high as some would like. Would be great to see us sign up and coming English players.

I mean from a money perspective from what Hoyle was saying, reading between the lines, we won't be chucking the brass about.

We clearly aren't going to be going crazy, but I'm sure we'll be aiming higher than when we were in the Championship prior to our EPL stint.

Sell billing for over 15m and its a cracking investment on a player who looks very good and is english (so therefore probably worth over 10m if he's decent in championship)

Whats the difference between us signing Aribo to Grant. Lets go and test the waters The lad is free to choose is own destiny and has got a few looking at him from some much bigger teams than us the chance of him picking us would be very slim at best.

Wasn't that impressed despite the goal and decent Charlton performance. This is our problem, we sign too many in and out players who are supposedly have potential. I'd like us to sign some proven players this time.
