Does anyone know what's under that bucket, and why does he guard it so closely? Jack Payne and Alex Pritchard? And still got room for Duane.

oh dear he is staying bad news for us imo Not sure if it will do much for our season one way or another. We won’t be battling for promotion this time round, where as Leeds will. I’m past it bothering me now. They are a far bigger club than us and at some point they will get back up to the top table but so what. For me, the main thing is their fans/my colleagues can never say they past us going up to replace us as we went down. That’s gone now. Don’t get me wrong, it’s always nice when they don’t do well but after our stint in the Prem, I don’t have them burning envious thoughts anymore of they’ve seen the big time and I haven’t. Not to the same degree as Leeds, but I felt pretty much similar towards Bradford, Barnsley, and both Sheffield’s. They had all had a go in the Premier League, and Town hadn’t. But all them feeling have now gone, and I feel a lot more of a content Huddersfield Town fan. I no longer think only promotion will do in the forth coming season. I can now accept mediocrity more easily than before.

Depends if they back him. They got found out after Xmas and clearly lack bottle when it matters. If they lose their best player or two on top then he has a big job on.
They need a keeper as badly as we do and do not seem to have a strong enough squad to sustain the levels they want over a full season.

oh dear he is staying bad news for us imo Not Really, Take a look at Bielsa's history in club management. In every 2nd sason the club has dropped off and become midtable with Biesla either leaving at the end of he season or being sacked. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcelo_BielsaAs always I like to say I am a huge fan of Bielsa as a true innovator of football tactics are how th game is played. He is a purist rather than a pragmatist hence lack of trophies and medals. Still biggest innovator since Sacchi in the late 1980's and before that Dutch total football.

Our deluded friends down the road will be less patient with one spectacular failure there already on his CV.
If they are outside of the top two for any length of time then I'm sure the deluded lot will lose faith in their ability of playoff success and get on his back.

He got tactically done by Frank Lampard in his 1st year in management. Enough said. Of course he did. Leeds finished 3rd on 83 points and a GD of +23. Derby were 6th with +15 GD. Game 1: Derby 1 - Leeds 4 Game 2: Leeds 2 - Derby 0 Game 3: Derby 0 - Leeds 1 Game 4...You've probably still got a hard on about that one so I don't need to remind you the score. Despite Derby obviously winning that last game, if it wasn't for the defensive fuck ups Leeds would probably have won comfortably. To say Bielsa 'got tactically done' shows one of two things. The first is you know nothing about football. The second, which is more probable, is that your hatred of Leeds runs so deep that it stops you from forming any sort of truly impartial opinion. You're not alone though. At the start of this thread there's a few(not all) saying Bielsa will leave. All based on nothing but hope. If you really think Bielsa 'got done', go have a look at the stats from all 4 games.

If you really think Bielsa 'got done', go have a look at the stats from all 4 games. The results from the other three games are irrelevant. When things were going against you, when it mattered, he sat on his bucket and did nothing. Changed nothing. Frankly, looked like a lost little boy. Everybody said his teams run out of steam every year and end up winning nothing. Seems they were right, and until he develops a Plan B which doesn't involve running your players into the ground (especially in a 46 game Championship season) you are probably heading for more heartache. And we all feel for you, because you are a massive club who deserve to be in the Premier League rather than the likes of Burnley, Brighton and Bournemouth who are only there on merit.

That is THE most crucial part of the season and he sat on his haunches whilst Leeds wilted. For the record, Bielsa signing up for next season is bad news for all Championship teams next season but please don't gloss over the fact that he got outcoached by a novice who went long in desperation.

Leeds lose a centre half with a few minutes left when level. Rather than bringing another on, he puts a centre mid there, and it was no surprise that the winning goal came from a massive gap on that side after the centre mid jumped out.
Totally naive.
And that's ignoring not bothering to rest and try players for the last game or 2 to get everyone ready for the play-offs. Instead, let's hope Izzy Brown rescues us in 5 minutes despite barely playing all year.
Lampard out-coached him.

They had nobody to put their foot on the ball and calm the game down, even just after half time when it was 2-2 on aggregate. That's Bielsa's fault entirely. It became like a kids game of you attack, we attack, when a calm head would realise they had 40+ minutes to get a goal, which with control of the game they probably would have. You didn't have to be a genius to work it out, which shows Bielsa ain't.

If you really think Bielsa 'got done', go have a look at the stats from all 4 games. if there we not 'defensive fuck ups' it would not be football as we know it?? its part of the game which when attached to the opposition being there and being able to take full advantage is the way a great many 'GOALS' are scored? ?? Unless you do 'enough' in the regular season to get automatically promoted you then have a new 'tactical' problem of two legs and a one off final. Clearly Lampard did better when the pressure was really ramped up?? Impartially speaking The Blades and Norwich were the better 'league' teams and Villa proved to be the best play off side... Your paying Bielsa that sort of money is further evidence of the pressure placed on him and the playing staff, which as has been said many times is quite unfair and unhelpful given the time you have spent outside the top flight, spending because of your 'past' and 'expectation' because of the same is doing you no favours and has been the stumbling block for years now. You are where you are supposed to be.. Like us.. Deal with it sensibly and less pressure cooker expectation and you might succeed, continue 'pretending' and you will continue to be 'angry and disappointed'...
