When we played at Wembley in 2017 there were a couple of football clubs local to Wembley that opened up their grounds for parking - I think Harrow Borough was one of them. Can anyone remember which they were? I've tried looking for them with no success
Other half and his family are travelling down on Monday and would like to avoid the scramble at Stanmore if there is another alternative that might be quicker getting away from afterwards.

Definitely Harrow Borough, we parked there but you'd have to check whether they were open for Derby or Villa fans

It was excellent, free parking, the club house was open selling drinks and a bbq outside. The only thing was that you had to book.
If they can go I'd advise coming down the M40 as it's almost a straight run down and the motorway is usually quiet.

He's planning to set off really early so hopefully the traffic won't be too bad.

Wealdstone definatley catered for Town fans in the last two playoff finals Parked there for the Sheffield Utd final. What a friendly club. Couldn’t do enough for us. Granted they made a few quid out of it which was fine by me. Every little helps a small outfit like Wealdstone. Handy for the tube to Wembley, and the motorway coming home. Wonderful.

Two years ago I parked in a side road near Canons Park Tube, which is just 3 stops from Wembley. I assumed the Mon-Fri parking restrictions wouldn't apply as it was a Bank Holiday but I was wrong, but fortunately for me, I didn't get ticketed, but others near me did. So if you go, just be aware that the Mon-Fri parking restrictions still apply.
Side note: when I got back to my car, the person whose house I'd been parked outside all day congratulated me on Huddersfield getting promoted, and he was the one that told me about the parking restriction still applying and that I'd been lucky not to get ticketed. I think the restriction is from 2-3pm so the parking attendant obviously ran out of time before getting to my car.

My absolute top advice for a speedy entry and access from Wembley. Park for free near Northolt OVERGROUND station (easy to get to from M40/A40) and get the train one stop to Wembley.

Even better go down the M40 come off at Denham ( next junction after M25) Park at Denham Station 15 minutes into Wembley Stadium station, short queue at station when coming back.
