Exactly right. Same as you can enjoy watching a pub game on a sunday morning without trying to compare it with prem football. Ive watched bits and pieces of a few games in this WC and although Ive enjoyed it, Ive actually been surprised at how low the standard is. I thought theyd be technically much better than they are. The PC obsessed BBC aren't doing the game any favours with their campaign to regard womens football as on a par with the mens game. Just makes it and themselves look ridiculous I agree the BBC is PC obsessed on the whole, but I've seen no evidence of that in terms of the coverage. Men's football is not even referred to. Fri 28th : France v USA (20:00)
Sat 29th : Italy v Ntherlands (14:00) Germany v Sweden (17:30)

Quarter finals as follows : Thur 27th : Norway v England (20:00) Fri 28th : France v USA (20:00) Sat 29th : Italy v Ntherlands (14:00) Germany v Sweden (17:30) Holland V Germany in 2nd semi. Probably Germany in Final. The other side of draw too close to call but I think USA will squeak through to final. England could go home tomorrow against a decent Norway team. But if not I can't see them beating the US or France |

Neville going on about his rotation masterplan but I think they will miss Houghton tomorrow if she's definitely out. France v USA could be a cracker on Friday. Agree that Germany and Holland probably a bit too good for their respective oppo's on Sat.

The defending is so bad. They shouldn't be playing on full size pitches because they can't cover the ground quick enough so there's always massive gaps everywhere. You can see 10 seconds before hand exactly what's going to happen
It's amazing that the games don't finish with double figure score lines but that's probably more to do with the attacking players not being able to kick it properly

yes there is a massive gulf between the mens and womens game but it's not fair to compare. at the level the ladies play at they're doing ok. decent first half, should have had three with a missed chance right at the end.
