Wore them to death. My mate Clarkey went all out with the dungarees and everything, but a fat lad in dungarees was never gonna be a good look.

I remember shopping at Peter's for a pair of Farah's!

Mod first, followed as has been pointed out by the one you missed out, hippy, spelt correctly. You could also add Glam Rocker I guess for early 70s, but not part of my own scene particularly.

Farah, Pringle/Benetton jumper, Pony Linebackers, and either a Nike Windbreaker or an Alessi hoodie = school uniform.
And yet I was a bit of a prog rocker and spent weekends in Rush or Magnum T-shirt’s!

Original gangsta? Who knew Ice T is a Town fan? I'm a casualty of the Acid House era. Nights lost following shady convoys with no clue where we were headed. Traipsing across farmers fields or navigating through abandoned industrial estates in search of a warehouse. Used to love the ingenuity and enthusiasm of some of the people who organised and set up the parties just for the love of it. The free party scene was never going to last long but it was magic while it did.

I was born at the end of 1969, just my luck that the youth culture I hit was all the "second summer of love", acid shite. Fucking hated it, the crappy music that you needed drugs to enjoy, the stupid clothes. The only place I could go in town on a weekend that played stuff I liked was upstairs in the Changing Lights.

Ugh 1988 the year of acid house music. In fact 1988 and 89 were dog shit years for music.
