Really? That's some statement is that considering they are probably the biggest and most recognisable metal band in the world and have probably shifted more records that a lot of other bands. Probably more of them 3 you mentioned put together. Quick Google search says led zeppelin album sales 300 million, compared to iron maiden 100 million. Led Zeppelin are the greatest rock band the world have ever seen / heard. IMHO.  Stop being anal. A lot of Zep's stuff is accoustic so rock band tag is a bit strong. I prefer Plant's solo work to be honest before he lost it by getting involved all that wizard and druid shit and nobbing his wife's sister. |
