Happy with the Fulham game as I can now watch whilst enjoying a nice cold beer or five.

Surely it's only the first 3 home games if you include the league cup, not 4? Derby on a Monday, Lincoln on a Tuesday and Fulham on a Friday. Next home game after Fulham is Reading on a Saturday

looks like I need to change my working week to include Saturday afternoons as it is getting less and less likely it will clash with a town home game

delayed my holiday start day to the Monday and travelling back on the Friday.... so now i miss both games! FFS - it was better when we were in the Premier League!

I might just be able to get away from work early enough to make the Fulham game as it's a Friday but this is a bit ridiculous 2 consecutive home league games on TV. Probably increases the chances of putting out a reserve team against Lincoln too.

It's designed to allow us to break the spell of not winning a home Sat game for a while...

It's designed to allow us to break the spell of not winning a home Sat game for a while... Surely, by moving the games to midweek, it's denying us the chance to break the spell of winning on a Saturday? I know, I know - pedant alert!

I think we will have a shite start, I can see us losing 4 or 5 of our first 10 but I still think we will have a decent season.

Can't really moan as with all other clubs we sold our souls to the devil a long time ago for increased revenue. We tend to get off lighter than others, poor old Portsmouth away to Sunderland with a 12.30 kick off, Stevenage away to Salford with a 12.30 start and the list goes on. Sky and BT are only interested in attracting audiences. Case of bite the bullet and hope for the best

My worry going forward is that as Sky will want to show the "best" games at the time the period of notice they need to give will get less and less - I can envisage that in the not too distant future they may have to give less than a week and also perhaps play games on weekdays with early/lunchtime kick offs to satisfy the overseas market.

Wish they would put an away game on TV, i don't mind Sunday's as much but still, feel for those who can only make Saturday matches. 3 of the first 4 home league games on TV.

Yep the home game to Weds has also been selected. That means 3 of Towns home fixtures have been selected for TV.
I've just clicked/ understood why. It was the stadium redevelopment we had to do when we won promotion to the Prem. If we all remember it cost many millions and was mandated. It included the new gantry for all the extra TV camera, all the underground cabling required and that big black media box for Gary Neville et al.
This means its dead easy for Sky to turn up and sort the setup out for a broadcast as all the infrastructure is there. Just plug-in and start. Much easier having to bring in all the portable stuff they used to need.
I also think our noise and crowd atmosphere has become recognized to a wider global audience from our 2 years in the Prem. So well done the Cowshed Loyal. Lots more TIFO and noise again next season!

Can anyone confirm what games can still be moved in August and September or is that it now? I’m at Kings Cross Sunday 15th September, train back to Brighouse is bloody 11.00am. The earlier one is now over £100
