Just seen the blue away shirt and a little bit of jizz came out! A bit too much info there Kenny but agree, both shirts look great and how good have the last few days been. I hope the PP sash shirt goes on sale for charity, a real collectors item. Bring on the new season

Must be the best marketing campaign by a football club ever. For Paddy Power and a club like Town to be the 2nd and 3rd highest trending (whatever you call it) is some master stroke. Hopefully this will be the best selling shirt in the clubs history.

You'll have the sash under your seat first game, instead of a clapper. And with it being live on Sky, I'll be amazed if there aren't. Or a sash right across the pitch

Auction them off proceeds to the Town Foundation.

I want the best for my club. Someone has pointed out this was the record deal for outside the PL and that has to be commended.
Don’t lose sight though of the fact our shirts are regularly late out compared to others every year. The sponsor is always seemingly a last minute afterthought. Yes OPE only gave backword late on but provisional discussions should have been held from February onwards when we were clearly down, not waiting for OPE.
Are you all seriously telling me you think in 12 months time we won’t have a shirt sponsor back on, when we’ve had a full year to negotiate the right deal?! You can only pay top whack to ‘not be the sponsor’ so many times before it wears thin!
I salute the club’s ‘noble cause’ but think you all need to get real in terms of how and why it’s come about and of you all think we won’t be selling that shirt space again in the future, like we can afford not to, you’re all very naive.

Ha ha this is funny. MP got involved belatedly with the shirt furore. And then gets called a Muppet by a Bradford City fan. Brilliant!

I suggest less of the told you so and move on. Just enjoy we’ve finally got some decent shirts if that’s your thing. Nope. Some “supporters” on here gave the club days of dog’s abuse over this and now they’ll come on say “that’s a great shirt” without an ounce of embarrassment. Let’s name and shame them, then get round to their houses with pitchforks and torches. First visit - does anybody know where CaptainSlapper lives, the man who called the club “a national disgrace”😉 No need for this IMO. People are entitled to raise their legitimate cause for criticism with regard to the way this was handled, just like others are entitled to believe it was a PR master stroke. It's a separate issue from the quality of the final shirts PS I'm only posting this cos I know Slapps is often reluctant to stand up for himself and his opinions on the forum.

Reveal tweet has 10k likes so far. Normally we get like 500, so the campaign has done its job. Fantastic marketing, even if it made life at work hell for a day!

You will no doubt enjoy the "attention" you will get for that post. Certainly sinks to another level. You can be proud. Did i really just read "shirts without sponsors look shit " ? You gotta love this social media stuff. An outlook for about anything.

So basically they couldn’t get a sponsorship deal/sort one in time and so have treat us all like mugs and turned their poor planning and usual lateness in sorting the shirts round on us the fans, with a last minute deal with PaddyPower for this stunt! Shirts without sponsors look shit, look like the club couldn’t find a sponsor and let’s not lose sight of that’s exactly what has happened here - they have just created a smokescreen and noble cause to cloud it! Take a day off fool!

Wait a minute, what's going on where the stripe meets the sleeve? #firstnegativepostin I know, that's the only bit I don't like either. I'd have had the sleeve all white but with a blue & white 'hoop' cuff like on the other strip. The navy strip looks smart, though I've long since stopped buying replica kits.

Better still is the fact that the advert has a dig at Leeds. So not only is there egg on their face and shirt envy but a little ribbing too.

Think maybe they should have looked at the placement prior to posting this garbage. Writes off that assumption instantly.

A three line article, which looks like it was written by a five year old. I'm not too bothered by that, nor the fact they've brushed over 99% of what has been sent out by club and PP.

Paddy Power (@paddypower) Tweeted: So yeah, our Huddersfield shirt WAS a fake. We're not just sponsoring them this season, we're UNsponsoring them too, through our Save Our Shirt campaign. #SaveOurShirt t.co/5Q5XjQ9U2U

Paddy Power MD, Victor Corcoran, said: “Shirt sponsorship in football has gone too far. We accept that there is a role for sponsors around football, but the shirt should be sacred.
“So today we are calling on other sponsors to join the Save Our Shirt campaign, and give something back to the fans.
“As a sponsor, we know our place, and it’s not on your shirt.”

That simply undoes all the shite from the previous two campaigns. Beautiful. Talk about pride and that is properly funny. Agreed. But it's just about the only way they could save it... which just goes to show how well executed it was. I fell for it hook line and sinker, but after the last 12 months I wouldn't be surprised at such an own-goal. Just hope there isn't a tweet from PP in 48 hours saying that the stupid sash WAS the real kit after all, #bantz
