A steady half. Some of our more experienced players making stupid mistakes to gift them chances but apart from that we've dominated Brown has stood out for me. Very classy on the ball and is a lot like Mooy in his ability to create space/time without actually touching the ball from dropping the shoulder or spinning. Think we could have landed a bargain there Sounds like he did have pedigree and it wasn’t his ability that saw him drop down the leagues. His record last season was impressive. |

Im embarrassed by quitters and moaning fuckers on and off the pitch..the shirt is inconsequential or should be to those wearing it and supporting it.. should we win the first ten games I do hope that those who cannot live with the shirt and going a goal down at rochdale will continue to stay away in their attics talking about doom..? our footballers want paying as much as they can get and to have at least an idea that the club and the manager want to go somewhere.. the pattern on the shirt is fucking nowhere in regards to 'professionalism', its merely a tool for sales and to put a sponsor on. The badge is the only thing that counts.. the shirt counts to overweight lads on beaches or jumping up and down in groups in the pub before games..the 'history' of the shirt is only in our heads and that history is being sold off at every team in the land... There were plenty of quitters on the pitch last season,absolutely none off it. This lot have a lot to prove,not just the players but everyone from the top down.Being made to wear a joke shirt in an important pre season friendly is not imo the way to go about it. Don't treat our footballers with professionalism and the game with respect then don't expect a serious performance from them. I find it all embarrassing... Prank or not. Yes I know lots think it's great. I don't... Each to their own. I'm in the probably a bad decision camp on this & think it's showing a little disrespect to Rochdale. Don't like the gambling aspect either, but with all this pre-season controversy it would be just like Town to go and romp the league. One thing's for certain; if they don't turn up this season the club will have egg, chips and double egg again on our fizzog... Let's hope the real reveal dampens down the circus... |

The build up play is excellent The final ball is beyond woeful I guess on the bright side we are missing Grant, Mbenza, Diakhaby... so plenty of room for improvement up top. They’ve all refused to play until we get a new kit. |
