What's your problem.? You've always been one for hilarious "Is he isn't he " type bantz It would sum us up if it wasn't a piss take and we have 5000 stored at the stadium ready to sell only for the FA to outlaw the shirt..... same numpty that agreed to it will be panicking about shifting them. How exactly would it sum us up? Wouldn't "unfancied, unfashionable team with piss poor budget makes it to the big time and spends two years in premier league" be more applicable, based on more recent events?

Apparently playing Coventry behind closed doors on Friday which would explain the missing players. I guess that’s because Wasps won’t let them have the keys? No idea, they are very secretive games! We played wolves before Austria

Quick review of the 11 tonight: Schofield - No chance with the goal but little else to do. Decent distribution but wasn't pressed too often Flo - His fitness/engine is his best attribute, up and down that side all night. Still very frustrating at times in how he used the ball but a couple of excellent crosses and zero rolling around (I hope PH told him to cut it out) Kongolo - It was a bit unfair really. He wasn't even trying but still strolled past them and barged them out of the way like little boys. He can play a lot better too but didn't need to Schindler - Some uncharacteristic mistakes but some towering headers and typical Schindler for most of the game Edmonds Green - Looks a talent. Good on the ball, confident, quick, strong. Looks closer to a first team player than I expected Hogg - Got better as it went on and was on a mission to get a goal. His celebration after the goal looked a bit like a goodbye but could be wrong Mooy - Poor by his standards until the last 10. Sloppy passing and not involved a right lot. Hopefully just pre season can't be arsed mentality rather than anything else Brown - Man of the match for me. Will be pushing for a first team place from the first game of the season for definite. A classy player Pritchard - Close to MOM. First time I've watched Pritchard and not thought he was slow, the difference between league one and the Premier League I guess. Great feet in tight areas and a brilliant cross for the first goal Koroma - Plenty of good stuff, especially how he took his goal. Does look a bit raw though and decision making let him down at times. Stronger than I was expecting though, bit of a unit Kachunga - Great header but I'm still wondering what has happened to the Kachunga from 2016/17. This one just makes too many errors, holds on to the ball too long and doesn't seem to have the pace he once did In general agreement, but not sure about Hogg's celebration being a goodbye - If the club thought he was off then I don't think he'd have been involved tonight - Smith was left out of the 2 games in one afternoon in Austria through his imminent move. I hope Mooy and Schindler's performances were just typical pre-season stuff from them. And the shirt wasn't anywhere near as offensive as I thought it might be!

We are starting to look a lot worse than card factory managed by KPMG. What the fuck is going on here Phil/Sean? Saying the shirt doesn't matter is crazy. It shows professionalism from the club to get it right and then to expect players to perform. I'm not an awfuliser but that is awful from the club. I'm not sure I've seen anything like that in the 40 years ive been alive on a pub side. I pray to God that isn't the kit. Having class players like we have, kongolo, Schindler et al wearing that, Wtaf? I think God’s answer would likely be... “get some perspective”

According to the announcer, who I thought was pretty good by the way, an improvement on Radio Leeds commentaries, it was Hogg's first Town goal in any game, friendly or competitive, so he was probably just really chuffed and hence the acknowledgement to the crowd.

Hold the fuck-up-there! Better than Oggy? Almost blasphemous (which I’m sure mrg will testify to). Sadly, though it’s not Hoggys first. He very definitely scored a smashing winner at home against Barnsley. Which smoothly supports the notion that the commentary must be shit. 😉 Edit: as at least two others beat me to saying.

He scored against Barnsley. He did say since 2016 on my commentary, but I think it was more to do with his 2 shots in the preceeding 5 mins and a 3rd time lucky acknowledgment of sorts.

Actually, looking at Wiki, he scored in the league and EFL Cup, though I have to be honest and say I don't remember either of them, which probably has something to do with my age

Nothing like a last minute winner and that was a belter.

So in summary of 9 pages. The odd mention of the Rochdale game. A rare sensible post or two. Lots of grown men losing their shit about a shirt. I knew we were in for uproar before it was announced but couldn’t expect such levels of dummy throwing. Personally i couldn’t give a shit if we played in sack cloths with blue and white stripes painted on and ‘pikey paddy’ written in green letters across it.
