What's happening to all the other ones? Paddy Power have them to do a similar thing at Town, I think

Just checked (Sat 4:10pm)
Current total is £16779.00 Biggest individual shirt price is Aaron Mooy at £1,950.
And, no - eBay will NOT reduce their fees because it's for a charitable cause; they will want their pound(s) of flesh.

The club would miss a trick by not putting generic Paddy Power sash shirts up for sale in a few months.
Like it or not, it's been an iconic moment in the club's history. A few days where the money dominated football world had its eyes on Town.
People would love to buy a PP Town shirt now.

All for a good cause! I wasn't expecting the shirts to be going for this much but fair play to whoever is bidding on them.

Obviously those who slagged the original shirt off don't need to take one 😉

I think they even waive them completely if all the proceeds are going to charity. Doesn't apply here though since they're just normal listings with Town passing on the donations afterwards, so I'm assuming the chosen charities aren't registered as options there and that was the only way we could do it. But yeah, £1 fees this weekend anyway

£1 fee is not for business customers which I assume we are? No it doesn't appear that we are registered as a business seller. It normally shows under the seller details if they are.

We’ve gone from worrying about the wage bill to fretting over the club’s seller fees are on eBay! I hope we’re asking PayPal payments to be made as ‘friend or family transfer’ to save the 3.5%+20p they’ll charge.
The whole charade is a ploy to make a gambling company more money. I wish we’d leave it out and go back to being a football club, not a pawn in a bookies profit making strategy.

Must say the more I read about Paddy Power and their activities in recent years the more I wish we had nothing to do with them - not because I'm against betting - I'm not - but because of some of their rather dubious publicity activities.

Paddy Power using Charities to promote gamdling - you could not make it up. You couldn't look at it as; Town using paddy power (their logo on our shirts) to make money for charities. At least that's the way I see it.

At least that's the way I see it. Makes far more sense to do it this way than the years we had YAA and Kirklees college on the front. This way we bring in money to give to the charities, rather than sacrificing it.

What happened with the Schofield one? That's now running several days behind the other 14, but it originally it was - I think - the first one up.

Is Schindlers underwear for sale? Asking for a friend. Does your friend want the underwear to be sweaty and match worn or would you rather it was freshly laundered?
