Given that it's not going to sell out, why not just buy a ticket for the away end from the Town ticket office? Cos having been to QPR several times over many years, the view from the away end is shit (IMHO)

I fondly remember the days where you woke up on a match day and decided whether to go to an away game or not. If you did go, you just jumped in a car, van, train or taxi and went, paying in at the turnstiles. Life seemed so much easier then. It’s a chuffing myth that you cannot get away tickets. I really wish the club would stop making it so difficult Three times last season (Cardiff and Southampton and Everton ) we made the decision to go at 9:30 on the morning of the game Rang the clubs and were told where to go at the ground to buy tickets.

Heck now available for 50+. Is there anyone, ie powers that be, with a modicum of common sense in this farce? If we keep reducing the loyalty points needed the damn game will have been and gone!

Hopefully someone with some common sense will realise my comment that 400 points starting point made as much sense as the forum fuckwit and will take that into consideration for future games.

400 points was bonkers, cant see it happening again.
Looking forward to this one, I quite like going to QPR, even if its just to hear '"you only sing when your shopping"

But many want to sit with their mates. Old Trafford days have gone. Probably 2500 tickets min for most away games. Get em on sale quickly and with some details of what the sale plan actually is.

And then I don't get a game ticket ? were we getting only one tier or two tiers ? We know now that that's not the case, but we didn't know it when the rail tickets first went on sale. Plus - I have a higher points total than my mate - so I buy one ? and it's sold out before his turn comes around ? or he does get one and we don't get to sit together ? As others have said, the club need to make is a lot less hassle. Town tickets went on sale Monday morning; QPR general sale was Tuesday morning - buying from QPR was a lot less hassle.

My post was a tiny bit sarcastic, a response to the 'we will never sell a game out this season'optimists. I appreciate there are problems, hopefully the club learn from it going forward and it's a first away game lesson.

Back in ‘85 I woke up on the Saturday morning and fancied going to Arsenal v Man U. Nearly 49k there but just strolled up and paid on the gate.

I think when tickets go on sale for away games they should be reduced by 1 point every 10 mins so that people will never have a chance to sit together - seriously though how many people have a day out with there mates apart from sitting together at the game. I appreciate that we need to cascade points on a priority basis but to start QPR with such a high points level was ridiculous.

Can someone please recommend whether it’s worth going upper tier or lower tier? Also difference between silver and gold to a Loftus Road newbie! If you go in upper tier gold be at least 4 rows back because of restricted view. I was worried following this post (with a ticket on the third row). However there was no problem, in fact it was a b****y good view. May have helped that we were standing and we were in a central block, but view way better than I recall from the lower tier.

Pleased to hear that, my post was on the safe side in case we were forced to sit. I was sitting 8 rows back and also had a first class view, or would have but for a #! #* stood up on the third row. 😉

Pleasant surprised that everyone around us stood for the whole game in the upper tier yesterday. Didn’t get to a single away game in the premier league for a variety of factors but the sit down brigade used to be a major deterrent.

My 91 year old neighbour used to attend loads of away games, but unfortunately the stand up brigade made it a major deterrent.
