I'm just looking forward to winning a few games again, I've forgotten what it feels like. Can we get special permission to play Wolves?

Anyone thinking of revising their predictions after last night?
I'm all for pre season optimism but the expectancy levels this poll suggests is just not realistic given where we are with our squad.
The simple drop in standard was never going to mean that all of a sudden we'd become confident and cohesive as a team. That requires much more work and time and a greater turnover in personnel. I don't think we'll go down, Derby should be a fairly high benchmark of the standard we'll face this season and I think there are at least 3 worse teams than Town.
But personally a promotion push seems laughable.

Talent - Absolutely Dedication - Debatable Application - Not yet Management - Not yet
Losing could be a blessing in disguise. I doubt it though.

Didn't Peterborough get relegated on 54 points back in 2013?......that target seems a long way off at the moment, take anything, but relegation. UTT

"This season i think Town will finish..."
Can't we just leave it at that?

But personally a promotion push seems laughable. We've some quality players but they're not trying or concentrating properly. When have you ever seen Mooy get caught on the ball so often? Or Kongolo struggle to kick a ball properly 10 yards to a team mate? Or Bacuna refusing to do more than jog around in the first half. They're not playing for this manager, it's pretty simple. They might say they are but it's clear they're not. Hodgkinson has blamed it all on the infamous 7 but I think it goes far deeper than that. He seems to want to stick by Jan rather than give in to play power but for our long term future it might be better to let them win and get someone in who they actually respect. The football under Hughton wouldn't be great but he would get us organised and hard to beat
