Bit annoying that he's gone and we can't replace him but on the other hand atleast we don't have to endure another performance like the one yesterday which have been just as frequent as his good displays during his time here.

Failing to beat the full back, throwing himself on the floor, dribbling nowhere when a simple pass could create an opportunity, rubbish cross after rubbish cross, badly weighted passes for our overlapping full back. I could go on

It does make you wonder how many more are still here who don't want to be. As a conservative guess I'd say:

Bacuna
Diakhaby
Mbenza
Mounie

Not a good position to be in when you're fighting relegation and need everyone pulling in the same direction.

Irrelevant of VLP, is the chairman saying anyone who says they want to leave can leave ? What if Grant says he wants to leave... Do we just go ok ?

No thought as to whether we can replace them or selling them at a later date ?

It's dangerous to keep openly saying players can leave if they want to.. It gives players an easy out and sometimes it won't necessarily be good for Town.  What if players we want to keep say they want to leave, how do we say No to them if that has been our stance ?

It might be Grant has been dragged down by the utter shit around him... I think he has shown he is a player.  Let's face it we don't have one good player at the moment...we can't get rid of them all.

I was only half being serious about Grant but I don't think he's the striker we all thought he might be after last season.

I agree, it doesn't add up. Because things are such a mess, you'd expect the club to start managing things like this with a bit more care and attention. It just seems sloppy and unprofessional again.

Whether you thought he was half decent or crap the timing once again stinks. Whichever way you look at it one of our starting 11 has been sold when we can't bring a replacement in.

I think we need a big rebuild of the team. Not a complete clear out but do it when you can bring replacements in ffs. Should of been done in the summer when they have a bit of time to gel.

If another regular starter is sold before the European transfer window I might give the next few home games a miss. Starting not just to lose interest but to get angry with how the club are going about things.

Mixed feelings on this, he has been our best winger (although given the competition, that's not saying much) but it's clear he divides opinion, on the other hand, the squad is rapidly becoming weaker with no opportunity to improve till January. Mbenza to take his place? Says it all really. It's rapidly becoming clear, even at this early stage, that avoiding relegation is all we have to look forward to.

According to the lad who originally contacted me with the belgrade link 30 mins before town announced it its 1m plus 15% sell on clause. The only reason we announced it was because red star already had!!
