Have to say he looked poor last night ! Very very average player ! When has he looked good? Seriously tell me a game?
The only goal i remember him scoring was a mishit long rangered that tricled inHe creastes ZERO..he has never beena threat. a number 10 should be banging goals in..threading balls through he is EQUALLY as much of a waste as Diabenza - how has nobody clocked this yet?! Truey woeful... what is Pritchards worth in todays market? Doesnt score, assist or win the ball? He looked good in that Bournemouth game in our first PL season, back when we could score more than 1 goal a game. 3 goals in 50 appearances. 1 in that Bournemouth game and 2 last season, which both came from opposition errors (West Ham and Southampton). He looked ok against Derby but has been poor since. The whole squad is just low on confidence at the moment. We need a manager who will invigorate them, someone not German, someone who knows this league inside out. No risky appointments, get somebody in who knows how to play in this league. Hughton, Adkins, Rowett, Karanka even Big Sam. We should have got them in the summer when our stock was a little bit higher, just find it hard to see us attracting them now.

I think he's as much as an issue when we're out of possession or people are trying to find him. He simply cannot cover ground and loses virtually everything that isn't played to his feet or that is precisely played in front of him in the direction he is running.
I honestly think he is the worst player I have ever seen in this respect.
Saying that, he was probably the best player in spells over the first two games.

Can see a similar scapegoating to Tom Ince arising here. Pritchard is nowhere near the main problem we’ve got at the moment. The problem is that we can’t field 11 players who can put in a shift or give one fuck about Huddersfield Town. I find it incredible that players such as Mbenza, Diakhaby and Quaner are still being included on the team sheets.

I couldn't agree more I would love a run down of all championship number 10's and to see their stats on ASSISTS and GOALS. Lets not forgot Pritchard starts nearly every game too! Absolutely useless; utter waste of money and valueless almost.

I honestly think he is the worst player I have ever seen in this respect. Saying that, he was probably the best player in spells over the first two games. This was the problem last night, in that if we arent absolutely dominating Pritchard combined with Grant offers us absolutely no outball. Out of possesion, we're playing with 9 men. 8 if you include Mbenza tossing it off. Like you say Pritchard loses every ball unless its perfect. And Grants link up play is a joke, the ball never sticks. Every ball played to him he's trying to spin his man and head direct to goal...which even if he beats the bloke marking him, he then doesnt have a Town player within 30 yards of him. I like him but there is more to playing up front than just scoring goals in this day and age. Mounie would have had us playing 20 yards higher up the pitch last night and given us a platform to build from. But we're getting rid of him outside our own transfer window without the say so of an incoming manager. Good one.

Looking at how Pritchard has turned out, I think we bought the wrong midfielder. Should have gone for maddison instead

Keep him away from corners, he's just as bad as Mooy However he is hardly a threat in the box at corners given his lack of height The days when a corner pumped into the box for a big lad to stick his head on it & get a goal are gone, mate. Defenders at this level & some way below have got wise to how to defend against that. Sure, we don't score many from corners but who does these days? Even as shit as we've been in recent months, how many have we conceded like that? Not many. A little guy & a clever ball in along the ground can be every bit as dangerous if not more so than a big lump trying to stick his head on a high ball.

This team including Pritchard is good enough for this league. They need a game plan and be shown how to execute it. I’m hoping for a big announcement with the new manager.

When Pritchard played for Norwich he looked great, but maybe the team set up allowed him to play to his strengths there ? I get the impression most of our players are not being played in their ideal area of the pitch, nor instructed to do what they do best. Square pegs for square holes is what we need, play to our strengths and have a game plan that fits into that.

Weirdly Pritchard is one of the players giving me some hope at the moment along with Schindler, Kongolo etc. and it's not because they're playing well.
We KNOW from years of watching him previously that he's, at absolute worst, a solid Championship player but he's not playing at anything like that level right now. If he can be underperforming to the extent that he is then maybe the same is true of some of the others and they aren't the absolute turkeys that they look?
Clutching at straws really but it's about all I've got right now.

£11 million this lad cost. He's been here 18 months Anyone got any idea when he is going to do something? Maybe you could do something constructive and buy a DVD of Norwich's 2016-7 games, watch them and work out his strengths, then write a report for the incoming manager. 😁. When you have finished that, you can start on Mounié and Montpellier for the same season. 😁 It’s a shame Jan the useless f*** didn’t bother to do this. He didn’t even watch our performances from the previous year. Felt he didn’t need to see anything as he knew what to do with his ‘vision’. Worst town manager of all time.

Looking at how Pritchard has turned out, I think we bought the wrong midfielder. Should have gone for maddison instead We would never have got him anyway, even if we were sniffing around him. How could we possibly compete with Leicester, they paid over £20 million, were in Champions League the year before he signed and are top 10 Premier League club. There’s no decision to think about.

Maddison signed for Leicester in the summer transfer window, 6 months after we bought Pritch. A bit hard to compare.

There was no one in the prem we could compete with for players. Even cardiff spent more on transfer fees and paid higher wages than us. We were only ever able to compete for players that other Prem teams didn’t want like Moonie and Prichard.
