We won't be relegated this season. Call me optimistic but the so called money that's accounted for will suddenly be spent to stop us going to league 1 and losing our parachute mobeyI wasn’t going to add to this thread and haven’t voted on it. The club needs to do something soon to restore confidence in the players and the fans but it’s early enough in the season and Phil’s reign to do something about it. The reason I’m posting is the mention of parachute money. Where does that fit within the sale of players and the lack of spending on replacements? There’s always been complaints that these payments create an uneven playing field. Obviously, not so much for Town but it makes the lack of on field investment even more unfathomable.

ooh **** off, seriously. We're only 4 games into the season, and the first one post Jan. Just **** off, and let Town be Town. Hudsons first game in charge, we're yet to appoint a permanent manager. Yes we've played dreadful, but that game is in the past. Get the right man in (and don't judge him on his first game...) and we will be right. SO tired of the negativity on here I don't know if your username is indicative of where you live but if it is then lucky you because (A) NZ is beautiful. (B) You don't have to watch Town regularly

For those who revel and want everything to be shit, happy now?
If it does not pick up then the Samaritans are gonna have to take on more staff.
If it picks right up what's the next choice of subject to get 'down about'?

[b I don't read other clubs forums etc so I could not say if we have more miserable, doom laden, hate themselves fuckers than other clubs, but we are well populated on here. They Couldn't wait to get an 'i told you so' on the forum about Jan, even though it's still quite possible that shifting some shit from the team and squad and keeping Jan would have worked better? Nobody wanted them? I am a 50 years plus supporter and we can all see where it was going wrong but so could the playing staff and the club staff but personality and ego clashes fucked us over. The idea that I ever wanted Dave to fail, or Jan or Julian or Dean likewise, is totally foreign to me. Some of the shit spouted on here TOWARDS some of staff has been fucking ridiculous. Having an opinion on their abilities etc is fair enough, it's Footie but some of the crap about their 'intentions' and integrity is fucking juvenile at best and libellous at worst. Clearly we had players who did not have the interests of the club anywhere near the top of their lists but the staff taking shit for players just not giving enough is poor and short sighted.

Imo if we dont get a recognised manager in during the break and we persist playing the shocking elphick then we will go down !

7-1 odds looking generous at the moment.
Where is the first 3 points coming from? Hard to tell at the right now isn't it.
4 points from the next 2 to settle the nerves. Anything less is simply not good enough.

If we cannot take at least four points off the two so-called weakest teams in the league we are going to finish bottom again for the second season in a row. We are struggling more now than at any time in the past decade yet we have our most expensive squad ever. God, what I would do for a Brian Stanton or a Dave Cowling.

Who exactly on a town forum actively wants town to do badly? 50 odd games, 4 wins, active regress and dissolution of anything positive and you want to hide under your shell and pretend everything's fine? WAKE UP.

If you go to (almost) every game you'll be there whether we're sh*8te or not. So why would being sh8*te bring out the real supporters. They'll be there anyway. They might make up a higher % of the support when we're sh8*te but it wouldn't bring them out. PS I'm seriously not sure there is anything to boast about in watching your team when they are sh*8te. .......and I was at the 6-0 at Oldham, the 6-0 at Bury, the 5-0 at Stockport (on a FRIDAY F***ING night). the 6-1 at Plymouth and of course the 10-1 in Manchester. I wish we'd been less sh*8te on each occasion. If you prefer that TBH seek help.

But when you’ve a team not being arsed and not playing for a manager or each other, then I don’t think I’ll line their pockets. I have a season ticket and the way it’s going it may get worse. I’d prefer not to be angry at games and enjoy a right nice day out with the kids and be in a good mood for the day. It just ruins your day when you have this shite going on. Wouldn’t mind it if they put their all in and we lost but a lot haven’t. Fair weather it may seem, but I’ll alway buy my season ticket, just if they don’t fancy it week in week out, neither do I. Not just the players at the moment, false promises and hot air conversations. So il spend my money on the family until I can be arsed and they can be arsed to sort it all.

From the remaining 40 games we need probably 47 points... 12 wins, 11 draws, 17 losses.
Can we get 12 wins with this squad ?

No is the answer we won’t get 15 points,it needs every player and every member of the coaching staff clearing out. Dramatic? No it isn’t until this is done we’ll be relegated without a fight again. Unfortunately it will take a couple of years to do that so expect league 2.The losing mentality is fucking shameful

I can’t afford to go to every game as it’s a 300 mile round trip but don’t doubt that I’m a pretty loyal and genuine supporter.

Jesus - I'm pissed off and surprised with this start to the season but really - are fans seemingly quietly revelling in when we will get relegated? Get a grip. Let's get the new manager in and see what happens before planning trips to accrington.

Us fans are the best thing about the club and have been since Wagner decided to fook off while Dean was ill. We're not down yet either still plenty to play for. It can only get better. UTT.

Nah theres enough in the squad to finish out the bottom three. Just need the correct manager appointment and a complete clear out of the coaching staff.
