It’s a mess
Doing the opposite to the norm isn’t clever it’s the definition of insanity
Yet town
Picked a manager who couldn’t hack it in German regional football in his only previous senior post
Got an assistant from women’s football (sacking the original assistant after 12 weeks)
Got a new DOF from a mid table Swedish side - if he’s so good why is he not at a half decent side aged 47 or still at Bournemouth or spurs
Trust a head of scouting who is a kid and was on the books when we signed utter dross last summer
Spend buttons this summer on non league players
Fill the academy with kids overlooked or rejected by London academies like orient - then our youth teams getting hammered most weekends learning our “identity”
Have a PR team that can’t provide a simple update on the delay of the new owner buying the club so allow rumours of betting issues to run wild
A commercial team that turns the shirt launch into a whirlwind of ridicule. a media storm and ultimately a FA charge
A MD who blames wagner for not picking the appalling wingers we sign
Can we please stop with doing everything different now and get back to being remotely professional in some facet of the club
Yes that is a rant but the club has been a utter circus now for too long

Dont think I have felt so low watching town as this tbh. Its just dreadful, we simply dont look like we are capable of winning a game of football against any opposition. I have no faith in the chairman, I understand the previous summer is not his fault, but what the fuck has he done this summer when we needed a new manager and quality additions, we have got rid of Billing, Zanka, Mooy and Smith. 20 million plus in transfer funds, parachute payments to cover the loss of revenue/wages. We have signed players that clearly arent good enough for this level and spent bollocks all. A lot of the players dont seem to want to play for the club going by the lack of effort. I thought at least Hudson might be able to get effort and 90 mins of graft from them all even if we didnt get the tactics and result right. I never thought I would be typing this but I think we are in serious trouble, and think we need someone who doesnt give a shit about playing the ball on the deck, Pulis or Alladyce, and yes I feel dirty for suggesting those two but lets be honest, those players would not dare go into the dressing room after that kind of performance

Hudson had a chance to stamp his authority on the team tonight but he did exactly what Siewert has done for the past 7 months. The players look completely lost and I don’t think they’re putting enough effort in, which is totally unacceptable. It needs big changes throughout the club to stop the rot.
Hodgkinson needs to get a grip of this club and quick, starting with a strong managerial appointment ASAP.

Yeah we could hack it when Hand and Ross were managers with a transfer budget of 10k because we knew we wouldn't do much, we didn't expect it but this season we all expected a lot better although I did suspect this could and would happen. I did voice my concerns during the summer. |

I expected to lose players but I also expected to reinvest some of the money into adequate replacements, which we haven’t done. Hudson has had one game, but FFS at least do something differently to what we have done for the past 7 months, in which we’ve collected one win. |

It's OK going on about spending money, but we've got half a season to go before we can spend, even if the Chairman decides to?  ?? In the meantime we have a squad that has no depth, doesn't put in any effort, looks demoralised, clueless, uncoordinated, lacking cohesion, unfit, tactically inept, ...... I genuinely can't see any new Manager changing things around this season. Very depressing. |
