So what options do we the fans have now ? I’ve been one of the biggest critics of Jan since February time but he’s gone , we can’t buy any players in to alter things for 4 months . Like him or not skint Phil is going nowhere. So by a process of elimination there is literally only one thing left ..... Get behind the team on Saturday, encouraging everything and every player . Good , bad or indifferent they are here to stay (until at least January ) let’s show them we care. After all fellas it’s literally all we got. I’m going to try and ease off the criticism for a while because as the wife just pointed out its making me a “grumpy knob head “ , bring back the clappers I say 😄

It's time to get a clapper on EVERY seat. The whole thing with clappers is for as many people as possible to use them and to make the din that the John Smiths has become famous for. The idea that folk are going to make the same noise by clapping is just plain delusional.

And while I'm at it who the **** chooses the dreadful music that is being played at half time. It's hardly the stuff to build excitement and get the crowd going.

Its about time the players and the club showed their appreciation of the fans by upping their game both on and off the field.

I haven't got much vocal supporting left in me. I've not seen Town win since the Watford match 16 months ago. I'll say that again.
I've not seen Town win for nearly a year and a half.
Jaded and broken doesn't come close.

Put it this way, we could be Bolton or worse, Bury.
We have a club still. It’s falling to its knees but it’s still there.

Time to stop the infighting on here .Time to stop getting on PH's back .Time to show some patience. There are many games to play and we have the time to turn it around .

I know that you are right but this is starting to feel like Groundhog Day. I can feel this season slipping away like last year. All the while, we say stay positive and get behind the lads. And we do. BUT, we are not getting anything back in return. Some players are taking the piss and our run of form is horrendous. Honestly, I see no end to it. Even worse, it is predictable. These are dark days.

I'm afraid some normally moderate supporters are starting to flap. The question I would ask Sandy is: can you see where our next win is coming from?

There's no comparison. We should be cash rich, newly relegated yet looking up rather than down. What a monumental fuck up the last 12 months has been.

I get the point.....but with 4 wins in 55 and losing repeatedly to average teams incl those a league below patience is wearing very thin. Some of the knee jerk reactions at managers, chairmen etc are way over the top....... it's the players who repeatedly fail and have done for a season and a bit now

We do need to have some patience. A new manager is not going to fix this in one game. It’s going to take time.

Just got to the end of the M50, by the time I've dropped off it will be 4am when I'm in bed, got to be up and out by 7am, done it before lots of times and I can tell you it's a damn sight easier following a win. I actually thought the 2nd half was pretty good tonight and was pleased we tried to go for a win rather than settle for a point but we seem to be trapped in a vortex at the minute and I don't know how we can get out of it.

It could easily take till the end of the next window. We need to move out those who don't want to be here and get decent money for at least 2/3 of them. The last window failed because nobody came in for enough of our players. Jan going did not mean those with bruised egos were any happier to still be here. Unfortunately they still can't see that being poor on the pitch is not helping their chances. Losing a bloke his job clearly meant little to some.

It might be a very tough decision that has to be made on a few players that means taking a hit to get rid. Paying big wages for either uninterested or even poor performances or on the bench or worse can't be an option. If this continues then they become smaller and smaller but still expensive for us , assets? ?

Do you think anybody will come in for the likes of Pritchard etc. when we are bottom of the Championship? Pritchard? Yes. He's shown what he's capable of and when Pritchard is on his game he'd be an asset to any club in this division. If I was managing another club I'd be sniffing around HTFC hoping for a cut-price deal on a talented footballer. Same goes for a few others. Problem is, if we're going to get good deals we're going to have to reject the cut-price ones. Caught between a rock & a hard place. Either have a fire sale & lose assets for far less than they're really worth, giving our rebuild less resources than we'd ordinarily have; or hold out for a good deal & those players stay here longer, delaying our chance to rebuild. Restructuring the budget to give us more options for a good manager seems to me the best chance we have of coming out of this mess.

It's hardly the stuff to build excitement and get the crowd going. get back to my girl before the game as well the music is dire We can't buy any players now, until the January window opens, we can appoint a manager and new coaching set up, but we could get Sir Alex and Jose as a double act and that doesn't guarantee anything. Likewise we could get new billionaire Chinese / American owners but they can't get us Neymar and Messi before January. However our owner can do a few little things that might just help, despite the nightmare start Saturday's game with Reading will be the most "bums on seats" so far this season, the £1 tickets have filled the lower tier - if you've reading this Mr. Chairman then FFS please :- (1) Get the clappers back on the seats (10,000 might not use them or dislike them, bus the rest will be used and they DO help.) (2) Give all the ballboys a talking to and get them upto speed, it's pathetic and annoying they sit around and show less enthusiasm than some of our players, they need to start helping us and stop helping the opposition to slow the tempo down. (3) Sort the bloody music out, the ten minutes prior to the teams coming out has become pathetic, no idea what was played vs Fulham but everyone around me commented it was shite - Togs great at what he does, he must find it soul destroying with a team that's forgotten how to win and a fanbase becoming ever more apathetic to what they have / are enduring, at least give him half a chance to help gee things up. Three little jobs you can sort in under an hour this morning Mr Chairman, at little cost, if the team fail to deliver again it won't make any difference but if they do finally give us a much needed and long overdue performance and victory they might just help.

The very second our PL status was confirmed at Chelsea everyone connected to the running of the club went into a self induced coma. We should have kicked on at that point, invested wisely and had we done that our 2nd season would probably have panned out similar to Brighton's, a team we had been neck and neck with from our promotion year and first PL campaign. Now the 2 of us look to be in different universes - shameful management of the club all round if you ask me.

In the build up to kick off let us see some our players scoring goals from previous games on the scoreboard screen

Phills next big job is to appoint a manager the players and fans buy into but conversely won't take any shit from this lot of pansies. Just finished watching the latest installment of class of 92, Alexander was having a difficult period last season after playing good football he went back to basics got organised and re set got some results improved confidence. That's what we need basics and organisation, silky football can come later, results first how ever dour is what we need at the moment.

I have wondered for a few years why our ball boys are not coached to know when to give our players a quick ball or to slow up a little when its the oppositions throw, Or get it back to em quick to make em look like they are taking an age, Whatever suits us of course.
They aint your average paper boy doing it for a day sporting terry towelling anymore, These are lads from our junior sides who should know what to do, As it is they all look like they cant be harrised and the job is below em,,,, We have missed a trick here for a few seasons now.
