I believe the deal is if he isn't getting sufficient game time at Brighton he will return. I think his agent would have wanted that guarantee. Whether he plays for us again, I doubt it, I expect him straight out to whatever Premier League club shows interest. What I would like is for Aaron to play for us for the rest of the season, but that is highly unlikely. By the way I didn't say I had been told the deal, I said we. Which we were. Listening to PH on the podcast he said that there was a catch to Mooy coming back in January if he wasn't getting game time (which he clearly hasn't so far) - it has to be a two-way agreement. Seaslugs have to agree to send him back if we want to recall him and loan him elsewhere. In truth, the way things are right now, they probably won't object. I understood that to mean that they could send him back or we could ask him to come back (if lack of game time). However, he did imply that he would play abroad for the remainder of the season so highly unlikely he will play for us again. Nice seats though - I imagine we will start winning when they are all changed to white.

Blue and red seats with white ones dotted around, have you been down this season? Do you understand the concept of time? Things are not all completed instantaneously, they can’t do every seat at the same time to ease your pain. Aw man! That just sucks!

No idea where or if I heard this, but something in my ear says Phil said the most likely thing to happen with Mooy in January if he’s not a Brighton player in February is that he goes to a European team (on loan) ?

If I remember rightly and with listening to the podcast again, I think Hodgkinson said there was only a slim chance of him playing for us from January onwards and that he would most likely move to an 'international club'. If I am understanding the rules correctly, you can be registered with three clubs in a season but can only play in official matches for two clubs. The player can play for a 3rd club if they belong to an association with overlapping seasons (ie, start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring). linkThat would suggest to me that a move to e.g a US, Australian etc club might be possible, but would prevent him from moving to say another PL club ?
