He’s better than Pontus Jansson.
One of the few signings we got right in the premierleague. Good luck to him.

I still say his performance in the 0-0 at City was probably the best single performance by a Town player I've seen, especially considering the opposition. You obviously didn't see Tyrone Thompson at Port Vale 🙄 No, but I saw him at Halifax.

How many goals do we reckon he would have already this season if he was in our current side ?

How many goals do we reckon he would have already this season if he was in our current side ? I’d confidentially say at least 3, he has the tools to be a goal scorer if provided with service, 99% of his time here was fighting for scraps he was starved of actual quality delivery.

Bacuna on the bench for Rangers against Lyon tonight. Jon Goran Stankovic is in the starting line up for Sturm Graz v Monaco. Although to be fair, he’s been a regular with them since signing.

At Crawley Town v Harrogate Town. Not a good start….the best burger stand in football isn’t here tonight! Joel Lynch starting for CT; it seems he’s been excellent since he joined three weeks or so ago. My first chance to see Harrogate Town as well.

Joel Lynch starting for CT; it seems he’s been excellent since he joined three weeks or so ago. My first chance to see Harrogate Town as well. ……. And said Joel Lynch scores the equaliser for Crawley, scrambling the ball home from close in following a corner. Harrogate took the lead after 85 seconds with a simple header from a corner. Harrogate look dangerous going forward and it looked ominous for Crawley but they’ve turned it around and scored an excellent second on the break just before half time to lead. Lynch is playing very much as a defender and hasn’t done any of those runs he used to do at Town, but he’s looking decent. A very open game with absolutely no fannying around at the back, with those tedious goal kicks so often causing panic at the back conspicuous by their absence. So much more enjoyable than that crap against Forest on Saturday. Edit: Joel Lynch subbed at half time.

Danish giants FC Copenhagen featured Kamil Grabara between the sticks in the top clash with Jonas Lossl’s FC Midtjylland last Sunday. FCM won 0-1 though without Lossl who injured himself (possibly) lifting his wallet pre-match.

Very disrespectful of the Sky commentators to declare they refuse to use the name written on Zanka’s back…the name he identifies with, and the name the PL has accepted.
Presumably when Man U next play we’ll hear about Frederico Rodrigues de Paula Santos ?

Is that true? Just look at Liverpool’s team. Fabinho and Jota are both not their real names. Alison and Firmino don’t use their surnames. If Zanka was at a bigger club I’m sure they’d treat him differently.

They brought it up as a topic of conversation when he came on and said they won’t be using “cartoon” names (actual quote).

I suppose Javier Hernández had his nickname on his shirt at Man Utd and West Ham, but commentators regularly called him by his last name. Be interesting to see what the commentators call Man City's new signing Khadija Shaw tonight, she's requested the nickname "Bunny" on the back of her shirt! The mind boggles.
