Far better than that but suspect he'll get a pretty penny and a nice lifestyle over there!

I wonder if Blackman can play centre half? Saw this last night on Sky Sports News. Wonderful! They raved about it at the time.

Anybody remember a player called Richard Walker that played for Town round about 1982 or so, mainly as a reserve before he got a bad knee injury and had to retire at 23?
I was taking the dog for a walk through the woods this morning and this guy approached the other way with a couple of terriers (of course!). The dogs did what dogs do and I said something. He immediately picked up on my accent and that was it. We had a 30m chat in the woods, mostly about Town. He lives in nearby Tadworth. Small world.

Whenever I played Football Manager I used to shortlist any ex-Town players to keep an eye on them (sad, I know ). Could never find Richard Walker, didn't know he'd had to retire through injury so young but that explains it.

The name definitely rang a bell with me but, as I told him, his time at Town coincided with me living in the States. Very chatty guy, started with Crewe, came from Liverpool but grew up in North Wales. He spoke about Town and Huddersfield with a lot of affection.

Presume Steve Mounie is crocked, Brest have played 3 league games and he hasn't even been on the bench for them.

Kachunga starts for Bolton against a very strong Aston Villa side. (they're evidently taking this competition seriously)

Scott Arfield - not good enough for the Championship, apparently - who went on to play nearly 100 Premier League games, will be playing Champions League football next month.

With Scott Parker going at Bournemouth, an old boy is helping run the first team for the time being...
“Gary O'Neil will take interim charge of the team and will be assisted by Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick”

Kongolo has gone to Le Havre in the French second division. He's made 1 Prem appearance for Fulham during 2.5 seasons. We thought we were being ripped off, but they've also been mugged (as were we).

Amazing how a player can regress so much. Although I was always a bit dubious about his status, always thought he was clumsy and liable to give a penalty away and got VERY lucky with some claims against him by opposition forwards. I know I was in the minority but I saw many similarities between Sarr and him (clumsy as stated and just as likely to play an exquisite pass as to take out the forward) when he joined, although I do acknowledge TK's passing and positioning was somewhat better than Naby's. Couldn't believe it when we announced £17.5m (or whatever it was) at the end of his loan spell.

Kongolo was superb when on loan, quite bizarre how someone can have so much talent but not look interested once he signed permanently. From the Dutch squad to French division 2 without hardly playing any games, what a waste, if there is not something physically or mentally wrong with him that we don't know about.

Rekeil Pyke and Fraser Horsfall both bagged today. Billing bags against Forest and Wells gets his second and third in four days. Kieran Phillips scores at Brizzle Rovers. Dom Tear nets again for Scarborough Athletic. Mipo scored for Vale; how poor must Cheltenham be?
