He wasn't in the last squad due to illness, I believe.

Pilks announced his retirement.
One of the best wingers I can remember in my years supporting Town, screamers with both feet and always got me off my seat with excitement.
Happy retirement sir.

Off on a slight tangent but my son is in the Netherlands on a school football tour and is watching Vitesse Arnhem v FC Emmen in the Eredivisie tonight.
Sondre Tronstadt is playing for Vitesse.
Don't think he played a game for us though, despite being here ages.

Lolo with the winner for Gent The big fella looks like he might have made a recent trip to Turkey. He's looking a little more, shall we say, hirsute than he used to 😁

One ex-player still doing pretty well some eight years after leaving us, Oliver Norwood. Now aged 31 but I reckon he would walk back into our current team. I know he wasn't a favourite with everyone but we could sure make use of him just now!

Trevor Chalobah has been getting quite a few plaudits lately, some even saying he should go to the World Cup.
Apparently he's not lost a game he's started for Chelsea, outside of penalty shootouts.
I'm trying to think, didn't he have a record like that for us at one time or is my mind playing tricks on me? I suspect the latter.

From what i saw Gent were poor , poor playing from the back with the goalkeepers distribution leaving a lot to be desired and clueless up front changed when the Rovers player got sent off

Is Lee Clark still plying his trade in soccer management? Seems to have gone off the radar since his Sudanese sacking....but may be working for Newcastle Chronicle(?).

£16m for Grant was the best bit of transfer business Town have done since I first started watching in 89. Never in a million years was he worth anywhere near that.

Grant and Koroma are both one dimensional. Once defenders become wise to their cut inside and smack it routine they start to struggle.

I don't think he had a record like that for us, we played him out of position for half the time he was here.
