Give him chance FFS, he hasn’t played for a proper manager yet. If you’re good, you’re good or at least half decent. Being a professional footballer in the top league and now the 2nd best league, you shouldn’t need a “proper” manager to make you good, you should actually have something about you. I’ve seen absolutely bugger all. Sad state of affairs if he needs to go through 3 or 4 managers to then have one act like his dad. Self motivation playing at the highest level should be bloody easy. I could understand if we were playing him out of position and the waiting for a proper manager, may stand, but he hasn’t even that as an excuse and he’s running out of them. He’s got summat, don’t know what. Pace definitely. He just needs to play football too, it isn’t athletics. Sorry we're on about Pritchard, who I rate, he's been one of our better players last season and hasnt really had a chance to show anything this yet due to injuries and playing in a Jan team. I cant wait to see what he can do in a motivated, organised team, he could be the one to keep us up IMO. One of the few who didn't look out of place last season despite playing in a woeful team. I think come the end of this season he may have gone some way to justifying the fee. I dont see Diakhaby justifying his despite people getting excited about him out pacing the Millwall defence a few times and diving in the box when he should have got a shot away or had a shot. Same old, same old, a good run or two, bums off seats, a free kick that didnt trouble the keeper, zero productivity yet again and not nearly enough footballing nouse. A decent option from the bench similar to big Coll. Hope to be proved massively wrong on Diakhaby and hoping Ince doesn't rub salt into the wounds tonight if he plays, wouldn't surprise me.

I wouldn’t criticise Diakhaby on going down in the box, he was fouled and it should have been a penalty, bad decision. I’d rather he go down and get a penalty than shoot. More chance of getting a goal.......

Fantastic going forward when he came on - a genuine threat
He ran back well once to close down a player, that was very noticeable as it was once more than normal
Other than that he was still a liability defensively, didn’t bother on 2 or 3 occasions... and was walking back 5 mins after coming on
But it was a massive improvement in a 35 minute spell
This is his role for now for me - a good attacking option from the bench
I’ve no doubt he’ll have his own plan like koroma, like Bacuna etc and he’ll work with him to address deficiencies
But - for now - Maybe now with a right back who can defend and can also help hide / cover his defensive frailties more and give him more freedom for his attacking threat to show

Had a decent view of the pen shout realtime and thought it looked soft, he went down too easy and it was obvious to the lino hence why he didnt flag. Seen replays and it doesnt alter my opinion, having said that I've seen them given, certainly against Town in the PL.

Appart from getting them reduced to 10 men and the match winning penalty that he would have earned had the ref/lino not been so abject. A couple of fine crosses right into the danger area that our strikers hadn;t gambled on too. We were extremely unlucky he didn;t win the game for us. All in 35 minutes. Hes deserved criticism in the past but to say he didn;t produce in that game is miles off the mark IMO.

Pritchard definitely struggled with the step up to prem football. But at this level hes proven to be an really excellent player. Not shown it yet though, id agree with that, but Id expect him to now we have a more settled dressing room and system of playing.

Kind of get him being on the bench yesterday as the tactics seemed to be to wear them down with dull, slow, nothingness, then bring on the pace to win it on the counter in the last half hour. But at home and with him on form, hes got to start ahead of kachunga surely v Hull.

Kachunga works hard and offers the full back some protection.
However, his technical ability is league 1 at best and now we have a solid RB in Simpson - Diakhaby should be in the team. Unpredictable, plenty of shite mixed with the odd moment of phenomenal.
If I'm the Hull City LB or left sided CB on Saturday, I know damn well who I'd like to see start!

Will he fuck. The guy has scored 1 goal in the last 30 months for Huddersfield Town and he was offside for that too! 2 and a half years FFS! I'll give you 100/1 that Kachunga starts & scores 2.

I don't think he's ready yet but I'd have Koroma ahead of Kachunga in the pecking order
Diakhaby deserves to start

He's becoming a characature of himself, only really useful at winning cheap free-kicks. The miss last night was spectacular, to say the least. To miss the target by that much when he had that much time takes something special 😂

Diakhaby will leave us exposed down the flanks where Hull are strong. Keep it tight for 55/60 mins, then bring him on if necessary. If we start with him, we concede and, we haven’t won a game in which we have conceded a goal for over 19 months.
