they certainly have traits of the torys about them born to rule etc It’s a bit like Scottish football at the moment is politics in this country. Considering the quality of the opposition then it’s a good job the tories are born to rule. Mate, the choice we have is between 2 shades of shit. I'm voting for the one that's less shitty and that's Corbyn. I'll be holding my nose while doing it. Johnson is a Poundland Trump. Anyone who can't see that is fu**king blind or stupid.

"Potless" Phil sanctions cheap season cards at the club he supports, multi billionaire at club he's never heard of goes down the how much will these mugs stand for route. PS Cpt. Did you see Kes was 50 years old last week ? Fucking hell, that's unbelievable. Is it still flying?,or just maybe the odd bit of hovering now and again? You're just being silly now, if you'd bothered to watch it you would now at the end his older brother wrings it's neck and dumps it in the bin as punishment for him failing to put a winning bet on for him.

So the Massive sold their stadium for £60m and made a profit of £38m on it, how the */$% can they do that on a depreciating asset that looks like it's from the 1950's?? To be honest though, if they gave them a point deduction that relegated them they'd be straight back and full of confidence so might do a double promotion, I'd leave them with a modest points reduction in May that demotes them to 1 point outside the playoffs if they're in there or carry it over to next year. I wouldn't. The Football League and FA (if they chose to) could relegate them to the bottom tier of english football. I'm not familiar with non-league football but what is the bottom tier? Assuming they had to go into a league with teams from a similar area, realistically the lowest they could go would be level 13 into the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Senior League Division 2. That would leave them 9 promotions from the Football League.

Rangers got absolutely hammered a few years ago and were relegated to the bottom tier of Scottish football. Is there any likelihood of the League doing the same with Wednesday? And when will a decision be made?

Which is your absolute right, and I fully agree with your view of politicians in general. However, please don't go moaning after the election if things don't go how you hoped - you had your chance to affect the outcome and chose not to use it. If this scenario is repeated all over the UK - as I'm sure it will be - there will be a lot of disaffected people who have only themselves to blame (to a degree). Use your vote - whether you like it or not, SOMEBODY is going to win; at least TRY to make that the right party. PS How on earth did this thread descend into politics?

I won't be moaning about whoever gets in and the reason I won't be voting is because as far as I'm concerned there isn't a right party - whoever gets in will more than likely make a complete balls of it. None of them can tell us what the effects of leaving or remaining will be because none of them know. Cameron should be locked up for what he did, instead he just walked away laughing.

It is of course your hard fought for right to vote or not as you see fit, however I genuinely believe if there isn't a party you deem worthy of your X next week then rather than abstain you should vote and scrawl None Of The Above on your ballot - it will end up as a spoilt paper but it will be counted and registered with the parties.

SW have issued a statement making a counterclaim that the EFL charges are unlawful and they have evidence to prove that the EFL authorised the sale of the ground at the time.

In Australia 'none of the above' is an option on the ballot paper. Then again round this parish what is the point of voting when that idle twat Sheerman will get in regardless.

Further proof, as if any were needed, that football clubs are bonkers barmy - Macclesfield Town, one of the worst supported sides in the league, average gates of less than 2,500, already in trouble for having to field a weakened team in the FA Cup due to senior players boycotting it in protest over unpaid wages, they've got the taxman after them for the best part of £200k in unpaid revenue and now the players have submitted in writing they won't be available for the Crewe Alex game as that continue to protest about still not being paid.
So, obviously they are in a mess, then Sol Campbell pipes up and says he is supporting HMRC as they pursue the club because he personally is still owed £180,000 in unpaid wages !!! £180k, he joined in November 2018, left in August this year and was in charge for 30 games, so by my maths if he never got paid during his time there he was on £18k a month, £4.5k a week for a totally unproven manager at a club who average 2,300 paying fans for home matches !!!

In Australia it is compulsory to vote whereas, although I'm not sure how they police it I don't believe it should be made compulsory to vote, it goes against the "freedoms" I just think everyone should make the effort, it's not asking much and just in case anyone reading this is thinking it's difficult for me because I work odd shifts etc - for the last 30 years as a hgv driver I had a postal vote because I did long shifts, nights away etc and was never sure I could get to my local station on the relevant Thursday - it's simple to apply for a postal vote in future but too late for next week.

I'm guessing there may be some sort of bonus included in that 180k for keeping them up, but yeah it sounds ridiculous that Macclesfield are paying that much. No doubt some fans will still blame the EFL though. Anyway can't Macclesfield just call the game off this weekend and get a suspended 3 point deduction?
