Oh dear! Our 5-2 defeat at Bristol City was deeply disappointing. Looking for consolations, we did at least draw the second period, and we scored two high quality goals but our defensive performance was, candidly, pathetic. Going up against a side that had just taken a beating we had to apply pressure from the off and we simply failed to do that. Kongolo and Flo starting, rather than the scratch pairing of O'Brien and Bacuna (who had actually done very well despite being played out of position), was a cause for optimism but their performance was a let down.
This was not the preparation that we wanted for the visit of Leeds United. Leeds, currently leading the Championship by a point, though having played a match more than second-placed West Bromwich Albion, are currently 18 places and 22 points ahead of Huddersfield. They have won their last five games and are unbeaten in eight. To get anything out of this encounter we will need to be at the top of our game throughout and, we need to particularly concentrate in the last 10 minutes, when they frequently score. Hopefully, Ashton Gate will be a wakeup call but, regretfully, I think that we will emerge empty handed.

They put a lot of their play down the flanks and over the top of the full backs. We don't currently have any fit full backs.
Can't see anything but a loss.

Perfect time for a reactive bounce. I'm sure the Cowley's will have them fired up for this one.
2-0 Town

I’m going 2-0 to Town also. Be good to have a game with a great atmosphere again. We’ll be up for it I’m sure.

I don't think we can live with them at the moment. They're far fitter than we are, move the ball quicker, have runners constantly going beyond the forwards and now a striker back in form
Would be delighted with a draw

Just another game to the Terriers though. Think we will get a stuffing, we have no defence. Kongolo shouldnt be near the grass .

Something tells me that our management are going to be giving the team a harder time than us after watching the post match interviews, on that basis we will put a performance in against L@@ds. Don't envy them having to pick the team.

I cant see anything but a comfortable defeat.....they are clearly playing well, keep clean sheets for fun and we have major selection issues and a lack of balance. 0 3 for me.

Breaks my heart, but we will lose this game. I'm coming up for the game, being there tends to dampen the pain I've always thought.

Simple 1-0 Town T.K last minute winner, then all is forgiven.

I know one thing. If we troop off at h/t next Saturday 4-1 down, there’ll be hell to pay. And TK & Flo, please just fuck off if you’re planning on turning in further half arsed displays. Not being good enough I can accept. Not giving 2 fucks is completely and utterly unforgivable.

I usually look forward to this fixture , but L***s are flying at the moment and we have been plagued with injuries, on paper you would have to fancy L***s to do us quite comfortably. Lets just hope the form book goes out the window in this game and we pull off a shock result, or there will be some very unhappy Town fans next Saturday!

They’re without Philips who seems a class above in midfield, he will be a big miss for them, so I’m going for a spirited derby win for us.

Routine home defeat on the cards here. But just imagine how hard Leeds would try if it meant something to them and their fans...

Because it's on TV maybe the likes of TK & the rest might actually put in a performance to impress perspective buyer's?

5-0 Leeds. Too many in our squad don’t care enough. I’d rather we played with 9 men who cared than 11 c**** who don’t. A team of Schindler’s, Hoggs and Kachungas please.

I wish it was all over.If the normal suspects(they know who they are) don`t really give 100% we will be mortified and crucified. But I will be there- - - -miracles do happen occasionally!

Looks like we are really struggling to pick a team. Both fullbacks out, Chalobah and O’Brien suspended, Campbell injured, Kongolo and Flo hopefully at home watching on telly.

Hard to believe a year ago today we were preparing to take on Brighton at home in the Premier League having won 2 & drawn 1 in a pretty successful November which saw Town up to 14th place in the table. December last season proved to be the month when things turned sour, by the end of January we were doomed. Listening to DC last night it doesn't sound too good for this December at the moment, I do sympathise with him & his staff having to work with some truly unprofessional individuals at the club, if those who want to leave so badly want out in January, then next week on live TV with millions watching why don't you show us all what you can do by turning up & playing as if your career's depended on it, then you can all gladly f#ck off.....Town to win somehow 2-1 UTT.
