MacGalph passed away on Sunday after a long and courageous battle with the big C. He was best known on here for being the Videographer for the infamous Ken Davy Stadium Shares meeting which I think was at the Town Hall and provided hard evidence that not all was what it seemed at the time (and was subsequently proven). Anyway he was the person that took me as a 5 year old to first watch Town back in the 1980s and got me hooked for life. Rest in peace Dad x

Sorry to hear of your loss, Warrington Terrier. My dad passed away in 2015, as the years tick by his memory is always there, but you do find yourself more able to cope with such a devastating loss. Much love to you and your family.

My dad passed away, finally, at the grand old age of 95.
Dad took me to most games when we were in Division 1. I cannot thank him enough for kicking off my interest in Town and which led to me following them for the next 50 years.
Everyone thought he / I was lucky that he lasted so long. Regardless, the first 12-24 months after he passed away, I was gutted. I could not fathom the sorrow, especially since he and I were so lucky that he lived so bloody long!
It’s true though, time is a great healer. Sooner, or later, you eventually realise that it’s not as painful as it once used to be. It’s never easy though. Especially if you might have kids, you just have to get on with it, and crack on with “staying alive”.
Best wishes.

RIP MacGalph, and condolences to Warringtonterrier and your family. I’m fortunate to still have my mum, relatively fit and still mentally sharp at 96.

Sincere condolences for your loss. My dad was the one who introduced me to Town (and to Fartown) and although he's no longer around to share it I'm grateful for that. It might not feel like it at the moment, but time can be a great healer and you'll look back on all the good times you had together.

My lads mum, and my wife, both died a month apart with that horrible disease a few years back.
So know what you are going through, be strong, time is a healer, but never forgotten.

Thanks guys and girls for your lovely messages. We both really loved being Town fans. I hardly ever show emotion but when Schindler put that penalty away I cried like a baby because he couldn't be there stood next to me. He was the first person I called and I remember he was so happy we got promoted to the Premier League...he said "Son now you'll be able to go to all the famous grounds I went to on my scooter back in 70 and 71"
Love to all our parents living or not x
