A happy, on it Bacuna is about as good as any player you'll see in the Championship. Thought he was first class tonight.

Bacuna started slowly and was beaten a few times but as the game progressed he grew in stature and was a constant outlet as a raiding full back.
We seem to be only able to do the double over teams who play in gold, Wolves last season and now Hull this.

Chabolah his best game in a Town shirt since Cardiff. Long may it continue. He earned his place today.

Chalobah - my mate who went to Hull tonight said he played really well (in front of the back 4). Table is looking much better, yes the bottom 2 won but the teams that were getting away from us a few games ago are now back within reach, even behind us. And we are only 5 points behind promotion chasing Wayne Rooney County! Indeed, middlesbrough coming back towards us, charlton in freefall, and we are a point further away from the drop than we were 2 hours ago. Not to mention potential points deductions from Derby and Wednesday. .... and Birmingham.

Brilliant performance from 1 to 14... superb to a man. No point picking out players they were all superb.

Been very critical of late to our style of play, our desire to actually go and win a game, and the distinct lack of entertainment, but credit where it is due. Its not just the win, which was much needed with Wigan and Luton both winning, but its the manner which we did it, we went looking for a win, we didnt play for a smash and grab as though we were playing Liverpool away at Anfield today. We were under the cosh a fair bit when Hull had scored, but that is to be expected, most times when a team equalises they will gain confidence and we found a couple of blocks and tackles, and defending, to deal with it. We have to continue with that mindset now, rather than reverting to playing full halves of football with no desire and 1 shot off target to show for it. Chalobah was decent today, I dont want to be critical of anyone after a win, especially when everyone played their part today, but he still has a massive point to prove and will need to show that level of performance now for several games to show his worth. Kachunga had a decent game too, in all fairness, and a fantastic ball straight onto the head of Mounie who couldnt miss. I was just pleased to see a performance where our first thought wasnt "backwards" instead of looking for an option. Bacuna I thought was very good going forward, had a difficult few moments defending, but once again he isnt a right back, so no blame from me. I think you also just have to give a mention to Mounie as well, he has taken a lot of stick from some fans, but look at what a couple of goals has done for him, since Christmas he has looked such a threat in the air for us, and he is now getting the rewards with the goals he is scoring. We are just seeing the player again who looked so accomplished in the Premier League in his first season, putting away his chances and stopped missing ridiculous sitters. He could score a lot of goals at this level, and could be such a match winner off the bench too, lets just make sure the Cowleys keep his confidence and belief up and we will see a different player again this season. Good post, Sir. But bloody hell use paragraphs!

So in the space of a few posts Bacuna has been 'skinned many times', 'shit', 'outstanding'and 'quality' 😃 Does some up most of his performances to be fair! I miss Nick, so thanks Cap'n!

I was at work/unable to watch. Does anyone know how long it typically takes ifollow to put up replays for midweek games? Weekend matches are usually posted the same day.

Cowley saying Grabara knocked unconscious and didn't know where he was when he came round. Gone to hospital

How important was
a) the break due to the injury to grabara
b) the team huddle whilst he was down with a change in tactics and press.
Totally changed the momentum of the game..

Far too many square pegs in round holes. Bacuna at RB to accommodate Chalobah Grant at LW despite being our best goal threat Mounié on the bench in the hope we can sell him Kachunga at RW for reasons completely unfathomable I’d just rather we picked attacking players to attack, rather than defend. If we were a cricket team we’d drop Jimmy Anderson because he can’t bat. All set for some attritional football with zero creativity and the penetrative threat of a marzipan dildo. Wooppee. I know as much about football as TownRWe does.
