A top right back? I haven’t once questioned his ability on the ball, in fact I’ve praised it. It’s his ability off it and his ability to be a liability in and around the box that I’ve questioned. Forget Flo then. What’s wrong with Duhaney? Or Stearman. Or Stankovic? He’s great on the ball. Same again... talent. The Bro's are trying to include Bacuna where possible because he has the highest ceiling of any player currently at the club. I'd rather they played him where he's best and where he's most dangerous then

Are we now picking ability and potential over balance and solidity at the back? And on that basis, why are we not sticking Stankovic up top or in place of Hogg then? And why’s Mounie not playing instead of Kachunga?

If you can disconnect head and heart town should be an ideal betting medium. As we have more knowledge on how they operate than most others. Hence I think odds against Hull is pretty good value tonight . Though I haven't had a bet on it Actually you can double that as I hadn't included the £95 I won on Siewert being next Champ manager to be sacked, which was based on "insider" knowledge of how terrible we were under him. NB. All my bets on Town are to win in some variation (or as tonight, not to lose). I simply can't bet against them, but try only to bet when we have a realistic chance. Changed your mind following the publishing of the Kachunga Chalobah Bacuna axis?

You can't afford to keep playing players who are gash 75 per cent of the time when in a relegation struggle

Liverpool played a young Steven Gerrard at RB because they wanted to get him some first team football during his injury plagued early career. I don't think it's that much of a stretch to ask a future CM to play at full back when required.

I don't think it's that much of a stretch to ask a future CM to play at full back when required. But he broke though into a European team at a young age and then made his way into his preferred position... Are we really comparing playing a lad who’s had three years in the first team and playing one game at RB with a young SG breaking into the Liverpool team!? 😂 The point is we have adequate cover. We don’t have his drive and creativity and goals. That he has. And can give. I can understand the percentages game, but this adds little. We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Far too many square pegs in round holes.
Bacuna at RB to accommodate Chalobah Grant at LW despite being our best goal threat Mounié on the bench in the hope we can sell him Kachunga at RW for reasons completely unfathomable
I’d just rather we picked attacking players to attack, rather than defend.
If we were a cricket team we’d drop Jimmy Anderson because he can’t bat.
All set for some attritional football with zero creativity and the penetrative threat of a marzipan dildo. Wooppee.

Eh? I thought we were going there to win.
That lineup says otherwise.

We know the Cowleys now- they are defensive, ultra cautious- if Chalobah and a Kachunga are fit they will ALWAYS play .Having said that I don’t get Bacuna at right back

Like a new signing Pyke. Just wait until Quaner is back. Two new signings to fire us up the table Hard to believe we were a PL team this time last year. A kid who couldn't cut it at Rochdale is now on our bench 🤦🏻♂️
