Surprised there isn't already a thread on this.
A scarily dominating performance from Fury I thought, almost to the point where he was just toying with Wilder. Hopefully the unification fight next, but worrying that when Fury was asked about it in the press conference he just shook his head. Is AJ gonna just keep dodging TF and DW?
Unbelievable performance from a sensational boxer. Wilder isn't a great boxer but isn't as bad as people make out, he's an Olympic medalist, but I do think he's become too reliant on the big right which he never actually landed in either fight and didn't have a plan B.
In many ways Fury is a great man and how he's turned his life around is amazing but there's a side of him I don't like and has been forgotten by most. People think he can be outspoken now but he's not, he used to share his views frequently but was obviously told to shut up because of how backward they are.
I don't think AJ is ducking either of them I don't think he ever has. There was an offer to him from Wilder which gets brought up a lot but from all sides it's admitted there was never a contract. How can you accept an offer without knowing the details? Heard tried to get Wilder on DAZN with a 3 fight deal including 2 against AJ but he turned it down.
Fury and AJ would fight each other if it was up to them they seem to get on pretty well but there's too many politics in boxing. The good thing is that Fury is promoted by Arum rather than Warren now which makes it a lot more likely, if Wilder doesn't want the rematch it could happen next quite easily because AJ's first mandatory is promoted by Arum. If Wilder does take the rematch then I think it could definitely happen at the end of the year.
I did like this tale regarding Fury. At the 2015 BBC Sports personality of the year, both Fury and Greg Rutherford were shortlisted, but Rutherford refused to be on the same stage as Fury because of his views on women and homosexuality. Fury's response to this was, "Who is Greg Rutherford exactly?".

Anyone see Wilders latest video. Very sad - seems a broken man “I am king” “I will fight to the death” Well no you got beat and you would be dead if it was a fight to the death and no towel to throw in.
Yes, thought it was that lot. Seems to have been a feud going on for a few years. Amazing nothing seems to have stuck and he’s got to this level. Troy Parrott at Spurs is mates with some of that lot too isn’t he? Dele Alli was also hanging out with them in Dubai I think. Not sure Mourinho is too impressed, think he played him just before the lockdown and made some sort of reference to him needing to sort himself and his attitude out.
Leo Varadkar getting involved now. At least no one will be able to use ignorance as an excuse if and when this match up happens..
God knows what the broadcasters are going to do
I pretty much knew that the Dublin mafia held a lot of sway but this is pretty huge. The turf wars around the RoI make the Krays seem small fry.
This whole story worries me. The making of this fight has been big news for 48 hours and this link hasn't been widely reported. Why? How? And why again?
I think the telegraph described him as a "contraversial businessman". Wow.. He doesn't need the dough it appears he's looking for the fame and this is all some kind of orchestrated PR campaign with arum and fury namedropping him when you would have thought he'd have preferred the anonymity. But it looks like a risky strategy on his part.because all the stuff widely reported in Ireland for years will surely now get exposure in the UK and round the world. But the media really has been slow on the uptake. They seem to have been more interested in fawily towers. I cant get my head round it tbh.. The Furys. What an interesting family they are. Peter Fury. Interesting guy
