Not really sure what the Club can do other than let us attend when we can and make as many games available as they can, free of charge through ifollow. We have a choice to either pay for what we can get or not. Putting aside all the discussion! etc about transfers, wages, etc etc I really do believe that the future of a number of clubs in our league and below must be in serious doubt so personally they can have my 249 quid if it means there is a fair chance HTAFC will exist in its current format going forward.

Meanwhile, in France, where known cases are far in excess of what they were back in April at more than 10,000 a day, but instead of acting like whiny babies, they base their decision making on actual science with regards to protecting health services as and when that might become necessary...just like we should be doing. Look at the scenes after the goal after Mounie's... Remember - flatten the curve, protect the NHS. We've done that - the NHS is not at risk. WHY are we behaving like a malevolent dictatorship hunting out cases of something that EVERY WEEK since June has killed fewer people per week by a factor of between 5x and 10x than influenza and pneumonia have?? I'm declaring independance, its the only way out of this mess.

Chief scientific officer yesterday was talking about restrictions being in place for the next six months. That's the whole season.

Yeah, I think if we do get back in it will be a token gesture towards the back end. And that could decimate clubs in the lower two divisions with very little TV money. If we are relegated, our TV income would be pennies.

If we are relegated, our TV income would be pennies. And if you take into account our season ticket income can be swallowed up by paying only a few players wages, it shows exactly why parachute payments were introduced. I know its been done to death but this is why the deal between Hoyle and PH is completely wrong.

Depends on your motives for purchasing one I guess Yep, I'd have bought anyway. They'll be plenty frothing though that iFollow home game by home game comes to £230 at most (less if you have sky and they show home games of ours) and a season card is £250.

Yup, was a touch and go value decision for me...but the 7 midweek away games also thrown in *just* about tipped the balance along with a slim hope of getting in to a handful of games at the back end of the season. Of course, if you have Sky Sports you can watch all the midweek away and home games anyway on the red button, so a SS subscriber could watch a mix of 15 games home and away (plus probably a couple others that get moved) without any iFollow outlay and it becomes an even trickier decision.

Is that actually the case this year? I didn't get a SC so I'd massively benefit from that. Seem to think I'd read that had been dropped.

£50 a year and you can watch all live football and every channel under the sun. Every body knows a bloke that can fix that for them. So the ifollow argument is mute. I've still renewed, because I felt that I should, to hopefully see the club in a better place than other clubs, if we ever get back to 'normality'.

Depends on your motives for purchasing one I guess Agree. I chose to back the club with a bit of money. The fact that I’ve got free access to iFollow is immaterial to me as I won’t ever watch games on there. I’m just hoping I can get to a few live Town games this season and that ALL lower league clubs survive.

Jobs fucked from what Boris has just said in the commons. New restrictions in place for at least 6 months. Will Carlos ever see a Town crowd?

Unless there's a discernible improvement in performance, and results, he'll be lucky to see Christmas Season's a write-off, and these games in deathly quiet stadiums just isn't football I'm afraid - it's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty

Ever cloud has a sliver lining. Judging by the (admittedly limited) games so far I would suggest there are more than 3 teams worse than Leeds in the PL this season. Mid table beckons I reckon.

We were TOP after the same number of games in our first season, and survived by the skin of our teeth in the last week of the season.

Don't fancy Fulham or WBA to stay up, and I reckon sheffield United's good season last year will mean fuck all this time out.

Yeah I'm not sure now you mention it - I did see something but it linked to an official article from the EFL which didn't mention the red button coverage at all. I don't think there are any non 'televised' midweek Championship games until well into October - one to keep an eye out on.

FREE? access to iFollow. How? Have I missed something? Free access to home games if a season ticket holder. Its not free, we've paid for access in lieu of not been able to attend the games.

I think Fulham are short of a quality defender, Dutch perhaps, and WBA are desperately in need of a pacey(ish) striker, the sort who bagged somewhere in the high-teens of goals last season.

You can transfer the money you've paid for the 20/21 season tickets for the 21/22 season - we did that and you get a 2 year price freeze for the 22/23 and 23/24 season .
