I have renewed but I wonder how many people are waiting to see what the effect of this Corona virus are before renewing? Would we be due a refund on missed games this season?? At £250 a season ticket I’m surprised the refund question has even been brought up. Me two butsome will ask for owt.

Well I have been a Season Ticket holder for 40 years plus and have renewed - not sure what the Corona Virus has to do with it but I am sure there will be the usual idiots on here who demand a refund if the remaining games are not played.

They can keep the money and use it to buy some decent players during the summer.

Hopefully will extend the deadline. It’s still massively uncertain what division we’ll be in next year and it’s not now going to be any more clear come 31st March.

Not really bothered about which league we’re in but hanging fire to make sure I’m not dead! (Edit: prefer the EFL but will renew either way. Could be more people on the screen for the annual remembrance game than there is in the stands)

Get ya sens ready for double game weeks mid April into the first two weeks of May. UTT 🔵⚪🔵 Mark Devlin seems keen to avoid double or triple game weeks. I think that means they prefer the season extending or cancelling. If I was in that role I think I’d prefer cancelling given our current position, but I wouldn’t say so!

Not got round to renewing mine yet, but will do as I always have for more years than I care to remember. I guess it all depends how the sales go with all this uncertainty about at the minute as to the thinking on any changes to the end of month deadline. Anyone know how many have sold to date?

Get paid on Weds so will be renewing ours after then. Be interesting to see if the deadline gets extended.

Regardless of what they do about this season, there's no knowing when next season will start yet. Or whether that will have to be in a reduced format if it starts late.

Wonder what sales are like 😢 There is diddly squat coming into the club at the moment, hence the constant updates re shirt reductions etc. Can't imagine who would be thinking about spending money on football related items right now.... Desperate times.

Yup. The club is lucky it’s had extraordinary income this season and next season* which should make things more manageable. Imagine if we were on League 1 or even Championship-only level revenue streams where season tickets and match day income is a major part of reducing the ongoing loss. I know a few of the obviously small clubs have already had to take measures...but clubs in and around the level where we are even can’t continue indefinitely without a match day product to sell, and of course, the operating costs and wages etc are far greater than the little clubs, the numbers involved could very quickly escalate to crisis level. The public aren’t going to be able to / or aren’t to want to, throw money into football clubs buckets quite as readily as they have in the past either...take Sport Relief last week, having had year on year growth pretty much every year, it was the lowest on the night fund raising in 10 years...with numbers down to around 50-60% of last years total. ☹️ *I wonder if there’s even doubt on this...Sky Sports and BT Sport are likely going to lose a lot of subscribers over the coming weeks and months. They’re both much bigger entities and have other streams away from sport to keep them going so an On.Digital or ITV digital or whatever they were called scenario is unlikely in the short term, but I wouldn’t like to be any sport that is hitting an auction period in the next 18 months for TV rights it’s members rely on for their sustainability.

Elland Road seems a lifetime ago, not twelve days since, yet I can barely be bothered whether football returns on not at the moment. The only TV channel I'm interested in whatever has the News on.

Went in to renew mine and my boy’s season cards yesterday. He’s turned 18 since the last one and will be going to uni in September and I noticed there is no special rates for students and it’ll have to be an adult one! Wouldn’t mind so much but he will only make 1/4 of all next season’s games being away from home. Decision time, do I part with £249 for the handful of games he can get to and reserve his seat? And it’s not only next season but the 3 after also. Seems a bit harsh.

It’s only harsh for your particularly reason. It’s not the clubs fault your son will only make handful of games. To be honest you would be better just paying on the day and save the money. There are always some seats together in the ground.
