Ex-Liverpool star Harry Kewell has been appointed new manager of Oldham Athletic on a one year contract with the option of extending for a second year. Let's hope he has more luck with the League Two side than some of his half dozen predecessors of the last two seasons. Paul Scholes lasted just over a month early 2019! Hurry up Harry c'mon. Fuck. Me. Rigid. But we're not allowed to say anything about him polluting the board 🤬

I see the ban and return to the site under a different monicker has worked wonders for your grammar Nick, by the way how is Lee Clark these days and has the Egyptian gadgee lost any weight of his enormous posterior?

But we're not allowed to say anything about him polluting the board 🤬 How about saying something about the subject rather than the poster. You can start with Harry Kewell, Oldham Atletic, League Two managers in general, Paul Scholes or even Sham 69!

Oldham born Ryan Kent who was on Liverpool's books for a few years and passed around on loan from season to season got lucky and brought a smile to his manager's face yesterday. Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard having finally given the player a secure job with a 4 year contract for Rangers saw him hit the net for the 1-0 win against Aberdeen. Ryan Kent was awarded "Young Player of the Season" when he was on loan at Barnsley and also at Rangers in his first season there. Good luck to the lad. It's going to be a tough season against the mighty Celtic who were scoring goals for a laugh today.

Kostas Tsimikas, 24 year old left back from Olympiakos has joined Liverpool as back up for Andy Robertson. Cost in the region of 11 million and has been given a 5 year deal. "There are many Rhodes that lead to success and I joined LFC Kos it's the right one" he could have said, but he actually came out with "I'm proud to be at the biggest club in the world" !

He was constantly elbowing Chris Lowe! Ref bottled it, finally booked him & Chris Lowe!

That’s bullshit though isn’t it. They aren’t the biggest club in the world, they probably aren’t even in the top 5. They don’t have the highest number of social media followers, highest financial revenue, greatest history, attendance figures.... I would argue Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Man Utd, PSG are all bigger.

They would always have been a big name, but the PL, TV and betting have created this aura around the PL that there's nothing quite like it. Personally, I think that a competition that for over 2 decades has seen it dominated by a small handful of clubs isn't really a competition, much like some other European leagues. I just hope these 'big' clubs fuck off and let us others get on with it sooner rather than later.

Here are a few synonyms for "biggest": greatest, best, supreme, tremendous, awesome, top. I think that's probably the direction he was thinking. With him joining a club that is currently the Champions of England, Europe and the World I kind of understand his view.

I know you get some shit on your thread, to be honest it’s generally self inflicted, however my comment isn’t just anti-Liverpool. It was a genuine statement that I believe. I really don’t think Liverpool are the biggest club in the world. If we take everything in to consideration, do you honestly believe they are? If football stopped for good, right now, all over the world and one club could be crowned the biggest, it wouldn’t be Liverpool. I suppose biggest is subjective. But as you have stated greatest, best, supreme, it would be Real Madrid. They have won pretty much double what Liverpool have. Around 400 million more global fans. Just a bigger club. Pretty much bigger in every sense of the word. Plus they aren’t supported by wankers. Obviously that isn’t aimed at you, being a Town fan.

Atletico fans may disagree with you, Similar to Citeh fans coming from Manchester and Manures coming from further afield, And similar to the toffees being localish and North Wales, whereas the Pool fans come from Ireland, China, India, Swindon and Torquay.

I lived in Machester for over 15 years and that just isn't true. I reckon it's a total myth. Yeah, there are lots of Man U fans from all over the country and overseas, but from my experience there isn't a particularly noticeable difference in Manchester and the outskirts.

That's a good stretch, Though I suppose you got lucky and did your time after the riots and after all the improvements were done, Far better than being in Armley.

Ha. I didn't live in the best areas tbh, but not quite a prison. And I am now in Leeds, but not Armley!

Jürgen Klopp has been named Premier League Manager of the Season 2019-20. No great surprise I suppose although he had competition from Frank Lampard, Brendan Rodgers and Chris Wilder who all had a good season. With LFC becoming Champions again and in record time with 7 matches remaining and accumulating 99 points on the way (a club record) I reckon he deserves it. Last month he was awarded the LMA Manager of the Year so he has his own personal double!
