Got a sneaky feeling things will suddenly just click, and we'll score three.
3-1.

It's a must win game - for Luton Town. For us, a win and that's probably enough points to stay up (but I wouldn't want to risk it and lose the next 3 games!). A draw isn't that bad and if we lose we've still got 3 games to go, so it's not the end of the world.

Luton will be coming at us from the start, as they have no other option. This I think will leave ‘em wide open to a counter attacking feast.ESR aka twinkle toes will have a field day. So a convincing 3-0 to the Town, and that should be enough to keep us up.

Just winning is the priority. A 90th minute own goal off a defender’s backside would do, but wouldn’t it be nice to get a few goals to improve the goal difference as well. It would help keep Charlton and Middlesbrough at bay, as well as Stoke now.

I expect a very cautious game with the side that scores first parking the bus immediately afterwards. If there's more than 1 goal in it I'll be very surprised.

Reminds me of a discussion we had a few months ago - a former work colleague of mine who was born in Cardiff & moved to Birmingham as a kid. He genuinely can't pick between Cardiff City & Aston Villa.

Isn't it the consensus that ESR can't start two games in a week?

Plenty of people have strong geographical connections with two or more cities or towns. It gets weird and for me, slightly uncomfortable if those two places are in the same football association, but couldn't - for example - someone born in Bangor but who moved to Chesterfield as a child support both? Obviously those folks who claim to support, say, Torquay because they grew up there but first and foremost "support" Man United or Liverpool....well, that's a different story.

Just been on the web site
There is an article by DC headed " we are fighting very hard"
FFS Danny , I kinda hoped that as our position is a tad perilous, fighting very hard is a given !

Most manager’s press conferences are just lip service. They have to be portrayed in a certain light and all come out with the same cliches to represent positivity and that they have everything in check. It would be much more entertaining if they were completely transparent but it is unlikely to help the players or fans. Mourinho for example, tries to slate the players and call them out if they aren’t performing and it just doesn’t help the unity or morale.

With how much the club are bigging up this game. I fear they will do what they have done most of the season and not show up.
