Still chomping through his left over Christmas dinner is old Stanley. On the subject of Stan, he was the last Town manager to be sacked after winning a game. Shankly, Greaves, Ross and Warnock the other managers since the 1920's to leave the club on a winning note.

Unless I'm blind, sky bet, PP, Betfair and numerous others don't have 'next Huddersfield manager as a bet.
So unless it is some comical pathetic stunt by PP and because of this bets aren't allowed.
Or have we already got someone and they are not being name just yet

Clearly it isn’t But when examiner polls show 85% against the decision then you can perhaps understand how perplexed the vast majority of fans are I can’t recall a more one sided outcome since our possession stats against Man City Clearly that may change when 1. Phil reveals his vision ... they may delay the bond release again for this 2. Head coach announced 3. Josh Marsh promoted

True but the club do have form for being worn like a marigold glove by those loveable japesters over at Paddy Power HQ.

The thousands of votes are presumably based on their results, the context in which they took over, their target of survival, the quality of football seen under them and set against clubs in knowledge of the clubs reason it gave for the decision

I think the outcome would have been 85% in favour, if it was asked after Luton.

A good wind up is kidding 80% of people, otherwise what's the point of a wind up.

Do you actually think that Cowley and the rest of the released staff would be happy being dragged through the mud and having anyone think that they are worth the sack? Or being part of a horrible PR show? It would stick with them for their careers. It's not as though it is anything funny.

There is something that has been niggling me regarding this idea. Really in bad taste if so... this board would explode in disgust. That would be some great publicity for Paddy Power though. Don't forget SJ said that there were other "wheezes" before the end of the season. I know Kenny. Things don't add up. One club announcement. Nothing from the Cowleys. I believe there has been some involvement of Motherwell (?) Only Campbell breaking ranks from the playing and coaching staff. I really hope this isn't happening. Me too, I couldn't stand watching any more of that turgid shite while trying to sneak a goalless draw

I think the 'Martin from Wakefield' ship has long sailed so I doubt this is any sort of publicity stunt.
