Phil Foden still isn't getting enough games IMHO. Would be my ideal loan player for Town. Completely agree. Mason Greenwood too Imagine Foden slotting the ball through for Greenwood. England in 4 years?

We dont have a massive pool of CMs so a bit more game time for Foden should make him a shoo-in. Greenwood would be a good back up for Kane and would work well with the wide men. To quote Partridge, "he's got a left foot like a traction engine".

Completely agree. Mason Greenwood too Imagine Foden slotting the ball through for Greenwood. England in 4 years? In all seriousness, Foden stands out in that City team already as one of the better players, thats how good he is. People mock and claim its always the same with players coming through being the next golden generation but this lot really are. Some genuine world class players in Foden, Sancho, Greenwood, Wan Bissaka, Saka etc

Danny Ward - Goalkeeper. On Loan Danny Ward - Striker. His family lives in Huddersfield and unless Cardiff offer him a new contract, he'll be available on a free. Izzy Brown - I think he's in the last year of his contract. Has had some injury problems since his time with us so Chelsea will possibly looking to move him on This thread is for players we want, not players we don't. 👏👏👏👏

Speaks volumes for our attacking talent at the moment that one of Rashford, Sterling or Sancho will have to start from the bench.

I'd have preferred that Polish winger we had on trial when Bruce was manager, I went to watch us in a friendly at Motherwell just to see him What was his name Tomas Iwan or summat, Iwan Tomas? He sounds more Welsh than Polish.

Surprised to read the negativity around Danny Ward the keeper.
OK he may not be the best, but surely he's a decent Championship keeper. We were in the top 6 pretty much all season the year we went up and he played pretty much every game.....so can't be that bad.
Danny Ward the forward would surely be a decent option on a free. I think he's scored almost as many goals from open play this season than Grant. And played fewer minutes. Probably wouldn't be a massive wage. Family lives in Huddersfield so he's probably looking for a move back to a Yorkshire and he wanted to rejoin us when he was at Rotherham.
Izzy Brown had a bigger impact than ERS and is better than Pritchard. After a couple of years of injuries and in his last year of his contract, I'd say he'd be a good option and wouldn't be a massive fee or contract

It's a shame they would cost too much, but surely at Cardiff both Smithies AND etheridge can't be kept happy.
I'd take either on a loan/ permanent.
More realistic, but what about Bailey Peacock Farrell, knows Carlos from Leeds, played for him at u23s. Don't think he has played a game for burnley

Strange because from what I saw, if it was on target and wasn't from the spot, it went in. He wasn't a shotstopper and he didn't command his area. I presume the cleansheets were due to him playing in front of the best defensive Town team I've ever seen from Nakhi, Raj and Kach to the back 4

You would of thought recruitment is well under way if the players are due back in on the 12th August...
I can see a first signing within the next couple of weeks probably a free agent

With Carlos being a keepe himself I’m sure we’ll be looking at far better keepers than Danny Ward who other than penalties is terrible. Another player who liverpool had someone’s pants down for. £12M to Leicester in this case. Remember Solanke? He was a good value buy for Bournemouth wasn’t he? Just the £18M. Really scored the goals that have kept them up didn’t he.... Klopp and co have been rinsing other stupid managers and chairman for years now, selling off their shit at massively inflated prices. £12M for Danny Ward, ouch!! Serves them right though for selling us Hamer, don’t know what he cost but unless they paid us £5M to take him it was expensive! I love Ward for what he did but a bang average champ keeper imo, decent on pens mind. Leicester did not sell Hamer. His contract with them had ended. www.htafc.com/news/2018/june/transfer-ben-hamer-to-join-town-on-1-july/

The last Polish non outfield player wasn’t great to be honest. Still young though so could be decent in the future. Majewski scored a beauty against us, not sure if it was the 5-1 or the 6-1 at Forest. Right in front of us.

Would be interested to see if Everton are planning to loan out Kieran Dowell for another season. Attacking midfielder, could be useful to us.

Robbie gotts is coming on loan from Leeds. As is joe gelhardt when he signs from Wigan, according to Alan Nixon

Robbie gotts is coming on loan from Leeds. As is joe gelhardt when he signs from Wigan, according to Alan Nixon I think we’ve got to be careful with this, taking Leeds players on loan after they’ve just signed with Leeds. It sets a precedent and it needs to be balanced delicately.

If we have a load come in then it’s obvious we are just guinea pigs to beeston. If we are successful then great but it still bitter sweet lol
