Seems like were are not the only ones who can make poor signings as well:

Some clubs have made it work promoting from within but it can also go wrong like when McCarthy left Wolves and his assistant was given the job. You just wonder what they can suddenly bring to the table that they werent allowed to in their previous role. If it weakens their position for next season then it's good for us.
