We played them there in a friendly in the early eighties, can't remember the year but I think we won 4-1 or something like that. Went on the train and had a right session. A lad called Peay (Garry Pearson R.I.P.I think) turned up on an old Lambretta with The Damned sprayed on the side. A good day out indeed.
Someone mentioned this at work yesterday. Surely they could've shared with Leeds, City or us. Hell presumably even York or Halifax would still have FL standard grounds. Donny seems a ridiculous distance to travel.
