While some of us enjoyed the highs of 79/80 in the cowshed, Harrogate fans were in virtually a cowshed We played them there in a friendly in the early eighties, can't remember the year but I think we won 4-1 or something like that. Went on the train and had a right session. A lad called Peay (Garry Pearson R.I.P.I think) turned up on an old Lambretta with The Damned sprayed on the side. A good day out indeed.

Liked when Sky said 20 of the County players had played in the FL with 2000+ appearances. Town had 7 with just over 700 appearances between them and 580 of those were Steady 😁

Someone mentioned this at work yesterday. Surely they could've shared with Leeds, City or us. Hell presumably even York or Halifax would still have FL standard grounds. Donny seems a ridiculous distance to travel.

Pretty easy for them to get to Doncaster down the A1. It will only be for a couple of games and I presume is cheaper than nearer alternatives.
It’s not like the fans will have to travel.

Yeah exactly. I'm sure if fans were allowed in it may have been different, but without fans then just find the cheapest that complies within a reasonable distance.
