It was insanely annoying due to the shite being posted and off topic tripe(guiltily) there is a “venue” for the tripe repository Judging by posts in the other thread, you and the two admins who agreed to this are in a huge minority that think this is a better way to operate. Huge minority = 49.9%? The new way makes more sense to me. Wasn'y convinced at first, but if you're interested in tracking the progress on each "runner", then much easier. I'd give it a week and keep an open mind, and then decide you don't like it 😁 |

I dont think i ever said i supported the move but regretted the insanity of the posts on there. Ideally we would have 1 thread where substantive rumours and reasoned discussion of that rumour could take place. Also new signings could be recognised and analysed. |

Grant will go this week
Phil will say Charlton have a 50% sell on fee and we are also getting it in installments over the next 20 years. We will then go get kenwynne Jones on a free transfer and say he is a big earner and covid has hit us hard whilst Phil keeps his pure business afloat and lines hoyles pockets again.

The closing of the main transfer thread I feel has quashed the enjoyment and excitement of the whole transfer process on datm. A lively central hub where there's a lot of shite posted which is easy to scroll past, but also the build up and anticipation has just gone now with the current set up. I'd wager there's a lot less folk posting now as it's been made harder. I also think the decision to halt the easy transfer thread should have considered posters' opinions before locking it and opening a way less user friendly method. It wasn't hurting anyone was it? Exactly, I normally just read, haven’t posted for years, but this change is ridiculous as it is far more difficult to find stuff. I just used to scroll through all the crap. No problem |

Up to then, I was wondering if Maynard was Ann Hough but since he confirmed he was indeed a bloke, I’m not a clue who he is, but one thing is for sure, he certainly has inside knowledge and I trust what he says on here as gospel. |
